consistent brand issues of not working properly
This would be great if it worked consistently. Sometimes it's so hot that it burns, and then sometimes it'll be on the same setting but you can't feel it at all. This is the second heat pad from this brand I've had and both do this, so it doesn't seem to be a one-off issue.

Overpriced, back-only
I’m actually going to be returning this because it doesn’t meet expectations. It heats up quickly but cools down every few minutes before heating up again. I understand it’s necessary to maintain a safe temperature but it is very noticeable and less helpful for pain during the cooldown. It also doesn’t heat the neck at all. There’s some heat to the shoulder but not much. There’s a magnetic bead liner on the front of the shoulder flaps so it holds together in the front but it’s not secure, so if you move around at all it will detach and slip a bit. I do like the stretchy Velcro band for the waist and the liner material, but that’s the highest praise I have for this item. I have an xl full back heating pad for $20 that maintains temperature better, but I really needed the neck and shoulder portion. For the price and description, it doesn’t meet expectations.

The Best Heating Pad I’ve ever owned!
My son and daughter in law gave me one of the pure relief xL heating pads after I had neck surgery a few years ago. This is truly by far the best heating pads I’ve ever owned. It’s so soft and covers so much area. You don’t have to use it on your back. It’s versatile so you can just put it anywhere. Recently we’ve had such harsh freezing temps that I lay it across my lap and chest or my lap and legs to keep warm under or over a blanket. It has a nice long cord that detached so that you can wash it. It also has four heat settings, heats up really quickly and turns off after a couple of hours. Some heating pads that I’ve bought recently turn off in no time and I really don’t like that. This heating pad checks all the boxes. It’s a little more expensive than some but it’s far nicer so you’re getting your money’s worth.

Excellent comfort and relief
This works for my chronic neck pain as it wraps around me in comfort. I highly recommend this. The cord is long enough for me to use it on my couch and I especially like the magnet that encloses the collar around my neck to keep it secure.

Not Great.
I bought this thinking it would warm the neck and shoulder area too but it really doesn’t. It also doesn’t secure around the neck so it often falls if you move. Wouldn’t recommend if you are suffering from anything shoulder/neck related. At the highest heat setting it doesn’t really get that warm either.

I wish the electrical connection could somehow be switchable to the other side, so I wouldn't have to turn it inside out to have the cord connection on my left.

Disappointing
This would be fine if it had some sort of strap or connection at the top as well as the bottom. All it has is a bit of weight so everytime I move it falls down.

It gets hot on the back but not at all around the neck and shoulders which is what I needed. It just gets a little warm not enough to feel at all.

Great Idea, some improvements needed
Pros: Brilliant design, covers full back, shoulders, and neck. Improvements needed: Not quite hot enough, the hottest setting is 140F at the most. 160-170F is ideal for the highest setting. The "high" setting is about medium compared to my old heating pad (may she rest in peace). Needs some more heat in the collar/neck area.

Doesn't get too hot
Great idea, and comfortable. I'm plus sized and I flet like the shoulder flaps weren't long enough forward personally. Husband is the and he felt like they could have been longer as well. Doesn't get overly hot on high. Smells a little strong out of the packaging. I would need to wash before using. overall a good purchase.

Wishing it would heat the neck and shoulders
This heating pad burns my back on the warm setting. I don't know if I have a bad one. I can only keep it on for like a minute because it will get so hot it feels like my back is burning and I have it only on the WARM setting (I've never been able to go over that). And this is only my back when I have 2 layers or 3 layers of clothes and it still burns my back! I don't feel any heat where I need it the most (my neck and shoulders). It's like all the heat goes straight to the center or the back and nothing to the other area! The concept is good, I just wish it would work better and not burn me.
