The smell wasn’t overpowering but still pretty strong as anyone would expect but the conditioner for post-dye care was absolutely wonderful. My hair started light and progressively got darker as I allowed the dye to sit and soak, ultimately coming out a very vibrant and luxurious red.

The instructions were clear, the application process was easy, and the formula didn’t have an overpowering scent. My hair felt soft and nourished after rinsing, and the color held up well after multiple washes. It faded gradually without looking dull or brassy. The packaging was also very neat and included everything I needed.

I was honestly worried I would end up with super red hair but it didn’t happen thankfully. I’m not too sure how it would look on lighter hair but for the browns it’ll just give it a hint of burnt orange rather than a red. My hair feels soft and not all crunchy like how other hair dyes sometimes make it feel. I would definitely purchase other colors from this brand again

It's supposed to be a fade-resistant conditioning color, and it aims for vibrant, lasting color and shine. I saw that it uses some special Moisture Seal technology which is cool because it's designed to protect hair, even relaxed and natural hair, while you're coloring it. The goal is silky, shiny hair and rich color that can last up to 8 weeks. Sounds great for keeping the red looking fresh! I've used Dark &Lovely for years! I will be using this box dye real soon! I've already used this one but on a family member and it worked well for her.
