We appreciate you providing us with this feedback, but this is definitely not the type of experience we want you to go through. For motor issues (no sound): Replace batteries with new, same-package AA alkalines, ensuring correct insertion and compartment closure. Avoid mixed, carbon-zinc, or rechargeable batteries. For non-motor issues (motor heard): Verify pole assembly, ensure the solution bottle is clicked in and not empty (replace if needed). Prime the mop by holding the spray button for several seconds, gently squeezing the bottle if necessary. Unclog nozzles by brushing. Use only PowerMop solution; do not refill bottles with other liquids, as this can damage the device. For new mops, confirm removal of the cardboard packing in the solution bottle housing. Quick, easy and dare I say it, FUN way to clean hardwood floors!
Pros: Sturdy construction Cleans hardwood floors without streaking (Start with a freshly swept floor for best results) Cleaning formula does not have a harsh scent; in fact, there's no scent at all Solution dries very quickly; no slippery, sticky or tacky floors Floors get shiny clean with no scrubbing! Just spray and mop. Cons: The little LED lights are useless. They stay on only when you pull the trigger to spray the solution.

Does not spray very well.
Not happy with the sprayer. Will definitely be going back to the old one not happy at all had to pull it upside down just to get the sprayer to work.

Was excited for this however the top link that clicks in with the sprayer constantly unclicks and pops out. Doesn’t stay latched despite the amount of pressure. I have to constantly fix it and can’t smoothly mop the floor.

This Swiffer mop is one of the better mops I’ve used over my life. You can use it for any kind of floor. It has a button that initiates the spraying, which makes it very fast and easy. It’s super user-friendly and very efficient. You can wash the bottom and it works as new.

I have owned the basic swiffer for several years and it does and good job on my hardwood floors, but this model is much better. I am amazed at how much better it cleans my floors, both on tile and hardwood. If you are hesitating....buy this Swiffer power mop. It reaches under furniture and into corners with ease.
