While our CRF950Z pitcher filters prioritize microplastic filtration, they do not remove lead. However, effective August 1, 2024, our PUR Plus lead-reducing filter (PPF951K) is back on the market and certified for 99% lead reduction.   • A: This is really disappointing. Why should we pay the same price for a product that does less? Some of us have pull down spray nozzles and can't use the faucet filter. It makes me want to switch brands.

Q: Why change the filter to no longer filter lead and then come recommend a faucet mount when clearly most common faucets these days (ie, with sprayers) are not compatible w/ a mount? I'll take slower.

Always amazed me how it change the water taste into crisp clean water, always worth to invest.. to keep my family healthy. I highly recommend this water filter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pur plus 3 in 1 powerful filtration certified to filter lead. Before using you will need to soak the filter for 15 minutes. Then rinse it for 10 seconds. Then you can insert the filter then fill your container. It was easy to do. You should replace your filter every 2 months or 40 gallons for cleaner and fresher water.

I have used these for years. The last two boxes I purchased have made a HORRIBLE fishy smell in the water. Something is wrong with them and there is no way to tell until you open, soak and try them. Might have to another company for filters

These are terrible

These are awful. I bought these because the other ones I usually buy from same brand have been out of stock for months, but omg these take forever to filter the water!! I drink a lot of water and every time I would refill my pitcher with this type of filter, it goes very slowly…would check back in an hour and it’s still filtering. I do have the bigger pur pitcher, but still. Not worth it especially when these cost twice the price as the other ones. And I feel like the water tasted better with the other filters. Would not recommend these.

Takes forever to filter and has a very weird smell/taste. Filtered water through this filter smells like food and slightly fishy.
