Uneven heating and temperature control fails
I've had this griddle for about 2 years and only use it about once/month. My previous griddle had lasted almost 10 years at this rate. This one never heated evenly and the last time I went to use it, it only cooked on the highest heat possible. I had it set for 350, realized that it was too hot, unplugged it to let it cool down, tried it at 300, still too hot. Unplugged it again and set it at 200. Tried to do scrambled eggs at this temperature (not the original plan) and it scorched both the eggs and the surface of the griddle.

Lightweight doesn't heat evenly
My mom has same brand griddle she bought years ago so I bought this one thinking it will be same. It is extremely lightweight and heated up very uneven. I couldn't get it to cook food properly even after letting it heat for longer. It was inexpensive but trust me not even worth the price. I stood there more than a hour trying to cook 4 pancakes. I was so excited to use this but will just get a better brand heavier griddle.

Hard to keep clean
Hard to keep clean. We only use is for weekly pancakes but it leaves marks/residue that is hard to clean off.

Can't withstand high heat
The coating on the griddle does not withstand the high heat settings of the griddle. After 3 uses, the griddle had burn marks on the coating where the heating element is. The coating has worn off and food sticks to the griddle.

Doesn't work properly
I just got this product about a month ago and it keeps shutting off mid cooking. Also, it only let's me use 300 degrees or higher. it doesnt allow before 300 or even the warm setting. Don't waste your money on this griddle

Over heats. Stopped working.
Great at first but after a few months the heat setting stopped working and it would get so hot not matter what temperature I put it on! Then not even two years after the purchase it stopped working.

How to use a griddle

BUYER BEWARE
The temperature control on this griddle is absolutely faulty and WILL fail after sometime of use, I'm talking within months. I don't even use it regularly, only to make a bulk amount of pancakes really, and now the temperature control has malfunctioned and heats the griddle at highest setting even though it's set to the lowest. I would not recommend anyone to get this, it's way way too dangerous and a fire hazard. I can only imagine if this was set to 0 and plugged in if i walked away for a moment, it would just stay hot and smoke the whole time. This thing is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
