    Convection Oven; I love it!

I’m so happy I bought this product. With summer coming it gets hot in the house using the large stove. This does sooo much more than expected & now wonder how I lived without one.

we have had a Cuisinart convection oven for many years and even though this is for a vacation home we won't use all the time, no other brand will do.

    Design flaw.

I have the TOB-260N1 Convection Toaster Oven. The "Default" temperature of 350 F and time 30 minutes are printed on the screen. If you want to change the temperature or time the new figures appear behind the defaults and are very difficult to impossible to read. This is a serious design flaw. I decided not to take the trouble to return it, but maybe I should have. I would not have purchased the oven if I had known of this flaw. Buyer beware!

    Solid and consistent

This will be my second one. The first lasted 12 years. I like to cook so its used almost every day . All the features work flawlessly . I bake, broil and roast . Whole Chicken, lamb steaks and vegetables come out to my desired doneness . Cleans up easy and fits on the counter top. I'm super happy with it . would have given it 5 stars . the convection fans stopped working. That's why i purchased a second one .

As capable as a full size oven, only smaller.

I've had this for more than two years, overall pretty satisfied with it. It does have two shortcomings. The first is it makes mediocre toast. Most toaster ovens do, they simply dry the toast out wayy too much. My 20+ year old B&D toaster oven is one of the few that makes good toast, so it gets the bulk of simple bread toasting duty. The other shortcoming is the door doesn't seal well, so more heat escapes into the kitchen than I would like. I do wish that it would chime when done preheating, and continue to do so until the door is opened. Those shortcomings aside, it DOES bake quite nicely, broils, roasts and toasts things other than simple bread toast very well. It has been used to make cookies, muffins, chili dogs, Spam Musubi (broil the Spam), bacon, birthday cakes, meatloaf, casseroles, multiple variations on chicken thighs and drumsticks, whole chicken, pizza, Brussel sprouts, and more. I heartily recommend it UNLESS your primary use is going to be making toast. In that case, just get a quality, good ol' pop-up sliced bread toaster. I would definitely buy it again.

Pricey but overall great toaster oven

I have been eyeing this toaster oven for years and finally decided to purchase this after they changed the lining to be PFAS-free. I upgraded from an old but very reliable simple toaster oven. So far I've used the toast, bake, pizza, and leftover functions. I do really like the oven capacity and pre-programed options and love that I can use convection. My main complaint is that once you start a program if you want to add time or make any other changes you have to cancel and restart, and the dial to set all the options in each program isn't the most intuitive and I frequently somehow cancel the whole thing which is frustrating and I hope it gets easier as I get the hang of it, but I wish it wasn't so digital. Finally, I got this on sale but it's not worth it's retail price to me and used to cost much less even just 2 years ago.

Delighted with this convection toaster oven

Purchased Cuisinart Chef’s Convection Toaster Oven about three weeks ago and I love it. The instruction booklet makes it very easy to use and the numerous options for oven functions makes it a huge asset to my kitchen. I go to it rather than turning on the big oven. Thank you, Cuisinart, for a well- designed appliance that really does what your adds say it will do.

    Everything wanted in an oven

Excellent convection oven, fits normal size pans, consistent heating throughout. As there’s the two of us I have tried baking, air frying, and using the oven to barbeque and do a small roast. Love the pullout drawer which is so much better than less expensive competitors, which you’re always fighting to get the crumbs out of the cracks. Worth the $$$.

    Dangerous failure

Worked well until it failed just after the 3 year warranty period. Doesn't stop preheating, so you have to power cycle it (repeatedly sometimes) and watch to see if it stops preheating at the set temperature. Very dangerous. Our previous Cuisinart toaster oven lasted 20 years; this one made it to 3.25 years. Won't buy another Cuisinart at this point.

Love the Chefs Convection Toaster Oven! I use it more than my standard oven. Besides the usual cook functions, I also use it to warm plates and with an air fryer basket, I don't need another appliance.

    Good all around helper

The oven heats evenly and is a great backup for my full size oven. It is large enough to hold decent sized casseroles, both for keeping warm and initial cooking. It is rather attractive as well.

    Only lasted Three years

Good for baking, broiling. Very versatile. Toasting bread takes too long. Fair at reheating. It is an expensive appliance that lasted only 3 years before the cord would heat up and started to melt. I could not find anyone to repair it. It is a flawed design-it would be better to have a three prong plug.
