A: I use a small paper filter as it’s easier to clean and have had no issue with it and have had it for around 9 months now. I just bought the small single serve filters off Amazon

A: Manual says not to, but it works fine with the #2 coffee filter. You will have to use it with the permanent filter to recognize it.

A: It can’t but there’s a “specialty” setting that you can use to make a concentrated 4oz coffee similar to espresso. It’s similar to moka pot coffee if you’ve had it.
