Miss Jessie's Jelly Soft Curls Gel - 8.5 fl oz: Paraben-Free, Sulfate-Free, Phthalate-Free, Curl Enhancing

I love it! I have Irish curls so my hair has a hard time curling on top, but this gel is the first to give my top layer definition. I refresh my hair a lot too and use this when doing so, and it works so well. It smells good, and the bottle is huge. I’ve been wanting to try this for years and I’m so glad I finally did.

I have fine waves and this product works great. does not rip my hair out, dries soft.

I don’t hate it - but pillow curl wax better for me. Still left me w some frizz.

I love this stuff. I have naturally wavy hair and am a busy mom that doesn’t usually have time to style my hair. I scrunch it in while my hair is wet and let air dry. The smell is strong at first, like a linen cotton smell but it dissipates as it dries.

I love this gel so much, it doesn't give a super hard gel cast but it still holds my curls all day and gives me amazing definition, and it smells so good!!

soft, defined & moisturuzed curls

As a curly girl who has been using the same two brands for years, I recently wanted to shake it up. So after some deep research and review reading, I came to decide this product as the gel step of my routine. Let me start with the hate part; the scent and it is literally the only thing I hate. It is a unique and powerful smell; if you are someone sensitive to scent, stop here and skip the rest of this review honestly past this section. It is a strong, fake perfume scent and the reason why I will be returning. Now the love part; starting with the texture. I very much like the feeling of it straight out of the bottle because it is not tacky but definitely feels like a flexible gel. The casting of my curls was pretty decent, but my hair did feel semi-heavy after but I don't know if it was that or honestly my curl milk cream. This gel would've been 100% keep if it wasn't for the perfume scent.

She's cute and all, smells amazing, and it's an okay price, but lacked giving me any definition, or creating a cast, additionally didn't control any frizz. Maybe i'm the problem, and I'll give it another chance, later on, but she's not good.

My favorite hair product! Never gets crunchy and rehydrated well with water.

I got a perm a couple weeks ago, and this was my first time using a Miss Jessie’s product. I really like that this gel doesn’t leave your hair super hard, but still holds the curls in place.

I’ve used Jelly Soft Curls for years. I have a lot of curly hair put the individual strands are fine, so a lot of products can weigh my hair down or make it look greasy, this is not the case with Jelly Soft Curls. It also has a soft scent that isn’t too over powering for my liking.

This product will make your hair DRY if you don’t use it with another moisturizing product. I think it’s because it’s a protein heavy product. But it does define and make your curls look juicy. I’d recommend using a very moisturizing leave in/cream first, then a moisturizing gel, and then this on top but not too much of it. And yes it does have a laundry detergent type smell but I don’t really mind that.

I love the smell of this product. It’s light and doesn’t smell too strong. The product itself is not good. Unfortunately it made my hair really dry and frizzy. I had to return. I prefer the pillow soft curls instead of this one.

I loved this product. Loved how it made my waves look and loved that it didnt make my hair crunchy. I used it for a good while but then my scalp started to dry out and my head became itchy. Even after trying to avoid my scalp with the product. Looking further into it, I'm not allergic, it's due to gel buildup. I went to another product and my scalp started to feel better. I wasn't itchy anymore. I went back to miss Jessie's just because I had a bottle still left and just to give it another chance to know for sure but again, my head started to itch and my scalp became dried out. It makes me really sad because I really did like this product. I don't normally write reviews but I felt like I should warn.

My hair is dry, hard and frizzy. My scalp is itchy.
