2nd CoffeePot
Extremely disappointed with this product. This coffee pot while brewing will overflow. Quite an inconvenience.

Crappy Coffee Center
This was a Christmas present to replace our previous Cuisinart coffee maker (different one that lasted more than 2 years). I read many reviews and was hesitant to purchase this, due to the negative reviews. Well, I should have listened. Just 4 months of using, the coffee brewer stopped midstream. Using our common sense, we unplugged the whole maker plugged it back in and nothing. Still shows power to the maker, just that the coffee pot side would not start brewing. Also, prior to this the coffee grounds would overflow into the pot of coffee. Thinking that we were using too many, we would reduce the amount and it still would happen. It seems like the water pressure is too strong and makes the basket overflow. Now, when calling to utilize our warranty, they are making us clean the system with vinegar and water, to descale the system. Well, that didn't work either, the brewing system won't turn on. I registered our system to make sure that if something did happen we would be covered. This is so irritating and we normally like their products.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re very sorry to hear about the issues you’ve encountered with your Coffee Center® 2‑in‑1 Coffeemaker. Grounds overflowing and interrupted brewing can sometimes be related to basket alignment, grind quantity, or scale affecting internal flow, and we appreciate that you’ve already completed the recommended descaling steps; our Consumer Assistance Center would like to review this further and discuss next steps at 1‑800‑726‑0190 Ticket #8900636355. We understand how frustrating this is, especially given your positive history with Cuisinart products. Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback, as it helps us improve reliability and design for future models.

Waste of money
Biggest mistake. Make is too tall to fill water reservoir. No water capacity for cups

We’re sorry to hear the Coffee Center® 2‑in‑1 Coffeemaker didn’t meet your expectations and appreciate you sharing this feedback. For easier filling, you can use a narrow‑spout pitcher or removing the reservoir (if applicable) rather than moving the unit, and ensuring the desired cup volume is selected beforehand since capacity is adjusted by settings rather than visible fill lines. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, as your feedback helps us improve convenience, design, and future models.

Mostly perfect
Coffee Maker is great but there is a slight issue where if you don't have the lid perfectly closed the water fills up the top and causes the coffee grounds to spill over into the pot.

Coffee pot
Hopefully this coffee pot will last longer than the last one we had purchased in 2025. That one lasted about 7 months. Unfortunately I did not register it. This one I did . Should have been good for at least 3 years as the warranty says.

Cuisinart coffee maker
Love this new 2 in 1 coffee maker. So handy for making a whole pot in the morning and a quick iced coffee or cocoa in the afternoon! We replaced our old Cuisinart with this one and we are so happy with it. BTW. We moved our old Cuisinart into our camper so we can still enjoy it!

The only coffee maker I need!
I have had this model for almost 2 years and have really enjoyed it. The versatility is great. The coffee is great. The "over ice" option is nice, just know that it's still hot coffee coming out. I think it just makes it really strong so that the melting ice doesn't dilute it too much. You then need to pour it over more ice, but it's much faster than making coffee and waiting for it to cool in the refrigerator. I must say that Cuisinart really exceeded my expectations when my coffee maker started smoking. They sent me a new one in 3 days! So, keep your receipts and do whatever you need to for the warranty. But, I'm kinda glad it happened, because I got a new coffeemaker that I love.

If Your old one still works, don't replace it
I've had a Cuisinart Coffee Maker for 24 years and decided to buy a new one that would allow me to use K-cups, but unfortunately the POD side of this 2 in 1 machine did not work and I had to return it. I went back to my 24 year old machine.

Thank you for sharing your experience—we’re happy to hear you were able to return the unit hassle‑free, though we’re sorry the pod side of the 2‑in‑1 coffee maker did not work as expected. We appreciate your long‑time loyalty to Cuisinart and understand how disappointing it can be when a new product doesn’t perform properly out of the box. Thank you for your feedback, as it helps us improve reliability and design in future models.

Great for me
I am happy I bought this coffeemaker to replace two other working units. It has saved space in the kitchen. It is faster than the others. The single cup brewer is not finicky about the pods (I use a stainless steel pod which the other needed just so). The controls are easy to use and allow for 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 ounces, not just 10 as a cheaper brand does, so I can do 16 total on one pod. The coffee is just as well brewed as the two replaced. The price a bit high, but worth it for getting what I wanted. I have used for a couple weeks with no problems.

This machine has all the features needed for a great cup of coffee, so easy to use, and a reasonable price range. I have had multiple quisinarts over the years and they continue to impress.

Ten out of Ten
We went through several coffee pots and was dissatisfied for various reason. This one had all the features we were looking for. We are very happy with it. One of my favorite feature is the ability to set the temperature of the coffee. We have ours set on high and the coffee is very hot. We have finally found a coffee maker that makes a good pot or single cup of coffee. The machine looks nice. I am very happy with this coffee machine. Ten out of ten.

Best coffee ever!
This coffeemaker makes really good coffee. I have used all three modes, and it's perfect for a carafe when I need more coffee, or just one cup when I'm in my own. I'm super impressed with the iced coffee mode. The coffee doesn't taste like it's watered down by the ice.

Love the 2-in-1 coffeemaker
Love the 2-in-1 coffeemaker! The coffee is delicious, and I love the convenience of the k-cup pods. The unit is attractive and easy to keep clean, comes with 2 water filters, one for the pod side and the other for the drip reservoir. Also includes a gold-mesh filter for grounds. The black stainless is an elegant look too.

Excellent coffee maker!
I am truly satisfied with the purchase of this coffee maker. I love that it has a lot of diversity, able to make hot or cold coffee, single cup or whole pot. I also love that the actual pot does not spill out the sides when I pour my coffee like some of the coffee pots I’ve had in the past. I would most certainly buy this again if I needed it.

NOTE: Cuisinart reserves the right to edit this
NOTE 1: I received an email request to review AND to enter the Sweepstakes on 04/20/2026. The Sweepstakes ended 03/31/2026. NOTE 2: Under the Terms and Conditions I agreed to for posting a review here, Cuisinart reserves the right to edit, delete, or change anything I post in this review, so what appears under my selected user name in this review MAY NOT be the full, precise commentary I actually wrote about our experience with this product. This Coffee Center® SS-16 2-IN-1 Coffeemaker replaced a malfunctioning single pod brewing unit in our model SS-15 that was used once or more daily for both pods and carafes for nine years. Both the list price and the selling prices are significantly lower than the SS-15 was 9 years ago. The SS-16 model is nearly a mirror image of the SS-15 it replaced, with single Pod brewing now on the left, and the Carafe brewing now on the right. The functions of both models are substantially the same, although the electronics are more integrated, with all selection buttons now only on the Carafe side of the unit. The SS-16 uses the same small carbon filters in the water reservoirs, (two included with the new unit) and the same size paper basket filter as the now-discontinued SS-15 (several paper filters also included with the new unit), so we didn't have to purchase anything new. The 12-cup SS-16 carafe is also identical to the 12-cup SS-15 carafe, so now we have an extra carafe, in case we manage to break one. The SS-16 Pod brewer now offers more choices for the amount of water dispensed, ranging from 4-ounces to 12-ounces in 2-ounce increments. It defaults to 8-ounces. If you use the other amounts, it COULD be an improvement over the three (6-8-10 ounce) button choices of the SS-15. However, if you want a different amount than default 8 oz dispensed, it now requires multiple Pod button-presses to select capacity, AND a press of the Brew/Off button, instead of pushing just one button to both select capacity and begin brewing a pod in the SS-15. Starting to brew a Carafe of coffee now requires selecting Carafe, and then pressing the Brew/Off button. On the SS-15, only one button press was necessary. We noticed that the SS-16 Pod side seems to brew at a higher water temperature than our old SS-15, because the freshly-brewed pods are now too hot to remove with bare fingers immediately after brewing, but after 9 years, the SS-15 brewing temperature may have decreased with age. The SS-16 has a single center LED indicating both Carafe or Pod brewing by pulsing, and steady-on to indicate 'keep warm' after brewing.

Great coffee maker
I was a little concerned based on some reviews I saw, but this coffee maker has exceeded my expectations. It makes great coffee - both hot and iced, bold or regular, in a pot or a k-cup. It is bigger than I expected, but works well in my RV. It has a 2 year warranty but I don't expect to have to use it. I got a great deal on it too!! I highly recommend.
