I absolutely love this watch and have used it every time I play golf, as well as every day use. I feel lost without it. The features are great, the resolution is amazing, and I paired it with the Garmin CT10 club trackers. It has dramatically helped my game!

I had a Garmin Approach S20 for years and it worked well for a golf watch. I was given the opportunity to upgrade to the Garmin S70. At first I thought I didn't need all of the bells and whistles but I was wrong. I enjoy all the data the S70 offers. Some of my favorite features are the plays like distance, the built in caddie and the tempo training for irons and drivers! What would make the S70 better? A different color other than black and a tempo trainer for putting. I'm enjoying all the bells and whistles! Great watch!

I have had the S70 for about 3 weeks now and it is great. Upgraded from the S62. Battery life is a game changer, the graphics are clearer, and the function are wonderful. If you are on the fence about buying it, don't wait.

I have owned this new version for about four weeks and I absolutely love it. I had the older 62 model and appreciate the extra battery and display resolution. This is now my favorite everyday watch. -Sam

I've had the S62 for the past couple of years. There's things that I like about the S70, for sure. But I really don't like the one feature about the S70 (I think the S62 was better). When I've completed a hole, the S62 had you enter the number of strokes, number of putts, and number of penalty strokes. The S70 has added another screen to indicate if I'd hit the fairway or missed to the left or right. I don't like this extra screen on the S70. I own the CT10 sensors so I already get this information logged automatically. This seems like a waste of time to have to enter this information each time I've finished a hole. If there's a way to disable this screen then I'd be all over that.

I like the Find my phone option. Don’t like the scoring process. When I get a text on my phone I don’t on my watch even though the setting is accurate. I prefer my old S62 but they discontinued it.
Looks great...but lacking functionality

I was excited to use this product to track my shots and for the virtual caddie feature. This feature has you create your exact bag of clubs in the app. So when you swing your club, it will ask you what you used and you should be able to select your clubs, versus the default every club that is in there. This function has never worked for me, and has resulted in a number of troubleshooting sessions with support and even a replacement device which is still having the same issues. The issue is that when I swing my 7 wood and the default clubs show up instead of mine, I am unable to select the correct wood. That means that the watch will always suggest an incorrect club for me based on my driving history. Additionally the watch has struggled to find courses that im playing even though they are extremely popular and established courses. Often time the watch will reset the map the moment I begin to play a course which means I have to restart the round. Oh and dont get me started on the software upgrade process. It is ridiculously complicated in an era of smart wearables. Who still uses a cable to upgrade software? Garmin does.
Game Changer!

I bought this watch on a recommendation from a friend (and much better golfer) due to its versatility of not only being a golf oriented watch, but replacing all the smart watch features that my Galaxy watch provided. This thing does that and then some. I have much to learn with all the new golf features, but my first round using it absolutely played a part in my round being as good as it was. I will say if you're a bigger guy like me the standard band is a little short, but the Quickshot 22s Garmin provides on their site for their dive watches are compatible with this if you need a longer band like myself.

I bought this a month ago and it has taken some time to learn the details with the watch. I have used it on the golf course and learned how to keep score and other aspects of the watch. It just takes time to learn and apply.

Had this a few weeks and love it. Coming from an Apple Watch the battery life is unbelievable. Picked up some approach CT10 sensors and now I can see my whole round, how far I hit each shot.

Absolutely fun. I got the CT10 to go with it. The only thing that makes absolutely no sense is why you cannot attach a seven Wood it is ridiculous with the technology. I’ve noticed lots of complaints about it to fix this issue.

Awesome battery life compared most smartwatches on the market. Works very well for Golf and provides good post game summaries. 5 Stars all the way for the analytics and data it provides. 47mm is a nice size, the dial and the red crown, is very attractive! The interface took a bit of getting used to, but friendly nonetheless. Missing some of the regular smartwatch functionalities, such as answering calls, writing text responses etc. So far, had to download 3 apps to make it all work: Connect IQ, Connect and Golf. (Still learning).

Had my S70 over two years now. Works great and the slope distances are accurate. I also have a Z82 which I use when I can’t tell where the pin is. Plays like distances are a little aggressive.
