This toaster is exactly the right size for me, it fits nicely on my pantry shelf and toasts the bread as expected.

What a cute little toaster! I like its design and I got this to add to my small collection of appliances. It works great! I like my toast done medium and this made it just right! I ordered this and it arrived in just over 2 days..and a day earlier than originally estimated. Even better. This is a nicely priced item for what I paid for it and I would buy it again!

great toaster! just purchased yesterday so I can't give a long term review but my husband and I used it for toast this morning and it worked great, no bad smell, and perfect size for our countertop.

Heats rapidly and does its job from light to medium to dark. Does a decent job on warming flour tortillas. The electric cord is way too short, had to rearrange counter top in order to use. I just open the bottom tray and the crumbs are easy to clean up. The toaster is also lightweight and easy to store. I am never let down when I choose HB. I would definitely recommend this toaster.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today I used the Hamilton Beach wide slot 2 slice toaster to prepare my breakfast breads. I usually use either bagels or English muffins. I toasted cinnamon raisin muffins, setting the shade selector on #6, after less than three minutes I had muffins just the way I like them. For the bagel I toasted an everything bagel and also used #6. The bagel had just enough crunch to complaint the softness of the cream cheese. In addition to breakfast breads I also toast sandwich breads. I like my sandwich bread to be lightly toasted so I used setting #4, the bread came out in a light golden brown, but only 70% of the bread was toasted, the bread was to large for the toaster. The 2 slice toaster has a small foot print allowing it to fit in any kitchen or dorm room. The toaster is very easy to use, you select the shade you prefer and lower the bread lifter and the toaster does the rest. When done your bread pops up and the toaster shuts off. The toaster does not have the option to toast only one side of a bagel, which some people prefer. This toaster is a good choice for someone who’s wants to simply toast breads without all the frills.

They were a bit too long for the toaster so we had to toast them flip the bread to get the whole slice toasted.it did a great job getting evenly toasting that way. However for bagels and buns this is the perfect toaster. The slots are big enough for bagels and buns, and they toast evenly and at the exact setting for darkness. I did toast the last bagel in the house but before I could snap a picture the bagel disappeared along with the 11year old.

I found that it toasted bread and bagels evenly. This toaster is cool to the touch so if you have little ones around they won't get burned if they touch the sides. Cleanup is typical for a toaster. It has a slide out tray but all the crumbs don't fall into the tray. Overall it's a good economical choice if you don't need all the bells and whistles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Toaster came packaged very well. Out of the box ready to go just unwind the cord and plug it in. I started with converting my bread to toast. I am submitting pictures that would be using the lighter darker settings of 3 and 5 as they go through 1 thru 5. The slots are plenty big for your bagels thick bread waffles etc. Another cool feature is the crumb tray. Its the top knotch slide out versus the type that pulls back with a spring type which sometimes is very hard to pull back and this crumb tray actually slides out with a nice little handle on it. The toasting worked well i woukd rate it 4 out of 5. The reason is both sides of the bread/ toast were not even. As this would reflect in the pictures. Still small like a regular toaster just with the top knotch features. 4 out 5 would definitely recommend. Thank you HB for the warranty of 5 years in Canada and 1 year in USA.

The toaster has numbered settings, 1-6, so you can customize your toast to your liking. The toaster's black, matte finish allows easy clean up and wipes clean with very little effort. If you want to check your toast during the toasting process, you can push the knob to make the toast pop up sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this new toaster better than the Hamilton Beach toaster I had been using for the simple fact that the slots are longer to accommodate the more oval shape bread loaves like sour dough and rye bread. As you can see in the picture, the slot openings are plenty wide for bagels but also a little longer in length. The black matte finish is awesome. Nice change from the shiny black exterior.

I read the instructions which indicated there might be a slight odor upon first use. Recommended to try it first without bread. I did that twice and the odor dissipated. I put one piece of bread in each slot and used #3 on Shade Selector. Turned out perfect! The bread toasted quickly and popped up when done. Easy! I also tried a bagel that I cut in half and put one half in each slot. Worked just as well. This appliance is a winner!
