Description

BISSELL® CrossWave® Turbo Pet Pro multi-surface cleaner vacuums and washes floors at the same time and in one easy step! CrossWave® Turbo Pet Pro (with Tangle-Free Brush Roll and innovative Pet Multi-surface formula) cleans better than a sponge mop and bucket and in less time*. You can seamlessly switch between cleaning hard floors to area rugs by the Fingertip Controls, while delivering the right amount of formula to your floors with the On-demand Formula Trigger. The Tangle-Free Brush Roll scrubs to remove debris and minimizes annoying pet hair wrap. CrossWave® Pet Pro is safe for tile, sealed wood floors, laminate, linoleum, vinyl, rubber floor mats, pressed wood floors, area rugs,
and more. Two-tank Technology keeps the cleaning solution separate from the dirty water to ensure a fresh mix of formula and water is always being used to clean your floors. The included PET Multi-Surface with Febreze Formula helps eliminate pet odors on your floors. After cleaning, use the Pet Hair Strainer to separate pet hair and large debris from the dirty water in your dirt tank, so hair and debris can be disposed into the garbage and not down your sink. The special Rinse & Clean Out Storage Tray also helps you easily clean the machine after use, plus it stores the brush rolls for next time. CrossWave Pet Pro® is truly a groundbreaking multi-floor cleaner that is a must-have for homes with or without pets. BISSELL proudly supports BISSELL Pet Foundation® and its mission to help save homeless pets. When you buy a BISSELL® product, you help save pets, too. We’re proud
to design products that help make pet messes, odors and pet homelessness disappear.

Q: What is the difference between the CrossWave Pet Pro and the CrossWave All in One?

submitted by Bits - 5 years ago
  • A: And how much with tax for this machine so as to compare it to the 10 other distributors pricing please

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 5 years ago
  • A: Thanks for your question! The CrossWave Pet Pro comes with the multi-surface pet brush, multi-surface pet formula, and a pet hair strainer that catches hair and debris in the water tank for easier cleaning after use. Please call us anytime if we can help at 1-800-237-7691.

Q: I know this says it works on area rugs but would it work for carpet?

submitted by Curious consumer - 5 years ago
  • A: For lower pile carpet that wouldn't be any thicker then that of area rug.... Definitely not good for area rugs that are made out of wool or shag no but but any sort of low pile carpet that isn't shag or wool it would work great on

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 5 years ago
  • A: For carpet, we still recommend a separate dry vacuum and deep cleaner. The BISSELL CrossWave is designed to vacuum and wash sealed hard floors and rugs simultaneously, eliminating the need to sweep then mop. It's not meant for spot cleaning carpet or upholstery. Hope this helps!

Q: Is this upgrade worth it for the hair trap?

submitted by CS - 5 years ago
  • A: Yes . But now if I could simply fine out why that machine we're speaking of is being offered at a wide variety of different prices anywhere from 229 to $400

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 5 years ago
  • A: In addition to the pet hair strainer, the CrossWave Pet Pro also includes two 8 oz. Multi-Surface Pet Formulas, two Tangle-Free Brush Rolls, and a Rinse & Clean Out Storage Tray.

Q: Does it dry the floor after mopping?

submitted by J - 5 years ago
  • A: It doesn't dry the floor, but it suctions the water off the floor and typically requires a short dry time. Thanks for asking!

submitted byAskBISSELL - 5 years ago
    Brand expert
  • A: If you take the time to properly learn to.ise the machine and make sure your only using enough of the sprayer solution.... Per say you're taking a swipe going forward you should be spraying until you get to the end of that swipe and then letting go over the sprayer all the way back so it sucks it so on and so forth you don't want to leave an excessive amount of water and cleaning formula on the floors and it will take longer to suck it up and we'll leave more streaks I've owned a Bissell crosswave not a pet one ... And I've never had really any issues with it until I recently had to use it for a big huge pet mask that's kind of got it all flowed up and I'll tell you if you take the time to use it correctly and keep it cleaned out it works wonderfully but if you have pets I would suggest getting the pet Pro Plus One

Q: I have hardWOOD floors - not faux wood. Would the formula damage the wood? Also, very importantly, the item is described as a floor cleaner and area rugs are mentions are very limited. Is this the best washer option for area rug cleaning?

submitted by Rhs - 6 years ago
  • A: They also have a brush and solution specifically for hardwood floors a little more money but just so u can rest assured that the scrubber isn't going to cause any scratches or the solution take away any of the protective wood layer . Also whatever you might use to clean your wood floors with you can also use in that machine it doesn't have to be specific to Bissell although of course they want you to use it sometimes I just make up a mixture of Lysol and water and make sure not over do it

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 5 years ago
  • A: The BISSELL CrossWave is safe and effective for use on sealed hardwood, waterproof hard flooring and area rugs. It's designed to vacuum and wash simultaneously, eliminating the need to sweep then mop. It will vacuum and freshen your area rugs, but it's not going to work like a carpet cleaner. The CrossWave isn't meant for dry vacuuming or deep cleaning carpet or rugs. For shampooing your rugs, we recommend the ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner model 1986.

Q: I have very low pile carpet. Could this vacuum be used to get the general dirt and pet hair off the carpet, since the fibers are so short? I know it says it is for area rugs and honestly, my carpet isn't much deeper than a rug.

submitted by Kay1005 - 6 years ago
  • A: I'm not sure why or who it is that's saying that this scrubber this Bissell crosswave machine that cost over $300 and most places is not able to deal with carpet when it specifically says under the details that it does do carpets that are low pile carpet no it's not going to do shag carpets no it's not going to do wool carpets but normal everyday carpets in a house yes it does so I'm not sure why I've read over and over again somebody saying that they don't recommend it when it is recommended right under the details and uses written by Bissell

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 5 years ago
  • A: Hi Kay - the BISSELL CrossWave is designed to vacuum and wash sealed hard floors and rugs simultaneously, eliminating the need to sweep then mop. For carpet, we still recommend a separate dry vacuum and deep cleaner.

submitted by Katie - 6 years ago
  • A: I looked up measurements 3.5 cups is not bad

submitted bylooked up - 5 years ago
  • A: No, Katie. The clean water tank holds 828ml and you can fill use the fill lines for small or large jobs.

Q: I have laminate flooring what do you mean by sealed our flooring is a snap together laminate with padding on the underneath of it that is attached to laminate the top of the laminate is fine they are snapped together tightly.

submitted by CL - 6 years ago
  • A: We'd suggest checking with the flooring manufacturer to see if the flooring is safe to put water on for cleaning.

submitted byAskBISSELL - 6 years ago
    Brand expert
  • A: Thanks for the detailed question, CL! When we say “sealed floors,” we’re referring to surfaces that won’t allow moisture to seep through—like your snap-together laminate with an intact top layer. As long as the seams are tight and the surface isn’t damaged or lifting, the CrossWave Pet Pro should be safe to use. Just be sure not to let water pool on the floor and avoid going over the same area too many times with liquid.

    Worst investment

I never write reviews. I wanted to make one decent investment for cleaning, and I’ve been dying to buy one of these for so many years. And wow do I regret it. Whatever you do, don’t buy it. I have a small home, all finished hardwood. One dog and two cats and a 5 year old. I trialed several times thinking it was user error. One time I thought it worked okay, but the streaks it leaves behind are horrific. It does get all the hair and crumbs and what not up well with the vacuum. But I can do that with my Shark vacuum just as well. It would take far less time to vacuum on hard floor setting and use a Swiffer mop. You HAVE to clean this thing completely between every use (manual says let all parts dry 24-48 hours which I have) or it doesn’t work at all/smells. Understandable. but the cleaning process is annoying when you're trying to save time and be efficient to begin with. I’ve used it under 10 times so far with two different bissell crosswave cleaners. (Which are also horrible, zero scent. No clean feel) and I’ve had to go over it with a swiffer mop after the fact, only to see how much dirt was picked up on that compared to this overly priced crosswave. Not to mention, two different parts have started to wear or fall apart after this last use. I wish I would have returned it but I really thought it was me not using it correctly. I’ve gotten the manual out every single time I’ve used it and still am so appalled with how poorly it cleans. And forget the area rug setting if you have lighter area rugs. Sucks your rug right up, barely freshens it, and then you have a wet rug for two days. Anyway. Not worth it. 2 stars only because of how good the vacuum part is. Don’t waste your money.

Not Worth It: Loud and Doesn’t Clean Properly

The Bissell CrossWave is quite disappointing. It’s very loud during operation, which makes it unpleasant to use. More importantly, it doesn’t clean effectively—especially on tough or dirty spots. I often have to go over the same area multiple times to see any improvement. It also struggles to reach and clean corners properly. Overall, it doesn’t perform as well as expected.

Hi Piyush — we’re sorry to hear the CrossWave® Pet Pro didn’t meet your expectations, especially with noise level and cleaning performance. For tougher spots and corners, making sure the machine is set to the correct surface mode and using slow, steady passes can often improve results. We’d love the chance to help troubleshoot or explore options with you, so please reach out to our BISSELL support team at support.bissell.com. Thank you for sharing your honest feedback.

I've had mine for a few years and I love it! So much easier than a mop and my floors look great. I have indoor dogs and cat. After a couple of years of almost daily use, I replaced the brush. Still works like brand new. I highly recommend!

    Needs more suction power

Nice machine but it really needs an upgrade in suction power and a more effective scrub brush. This is my second machine and the small improvement of the added pet hair strainer was a improvement over the old. Same motor and same underpower is the main issue
1 reply from BISSELL Consumer Care team - 2 months ago

    Not the best

I’ve had this for about two years. It’s good. But, it’s very difficult to get the suction part off. I struggle and I’m fairly strong. For the person who said they did their entire 1800 square foot house with this isn’t telling the truth. I don’t do my area rugs nor do I use it in my bedroom. That leaves about 900 square feet of exposed flooring and I barely get through that before the machine makes a hideous sound and stops actually working. I will be looking for another machine.

Hi Jill, I’m sorry this has been such a hassle. A stuck brush window or clog can cause the noise and shutdown you described, and a quick cleaning usually helps. If you’d like, our team can walk you through it at support.bissell.com.

Got this specifically for area rugs and it doesn’t work on them unless they are very high pile. Otherwise it just sucks up the rug until it blows a fuse

    2 stopped working in months.

My first one stopped working after only about a month. Using once a week. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but now the 2nd has stopped working before it was a year old. The brush spins intermittently and it won’t sprays water. When it worked it was great. Unfortunately I don’t want to be buying new appliances every few months.

    good

I have tried several similar type products and always end up back at this one. I have had 3 or 4 of them over the last 10 years. The only thing I wish it did better, is sprayed the water out evenly. It always tends to be mostly on one side, with every one of them. I just work around it. Also, it would be a plus if it wasn't so loud. With that being said, it does the best job cleaning and mostly not streaking.

    So Easy To Use

I bought this because I have hardwood floors throughout and to vacuum, and then go back and mop was quite a chore. With this, I can vacuum up small bits at the same time as I mop the floor, which makes the job half as long. I love the fact that there’s a little rubber feet inside the mop head, which scrubs a little bit harder on the sticky spots on the floor. Cleanup is a breeze, and I am super happy with how clean my floors are.
