It does the job
I got this because I used to have an Dyson vacuum and loved how it cleaned so I thought I would try the cordless because it’s lightweight with powerful suction. It didn’t disappoint! I have two cats and the kittie litter gets all over. I can use this once a day and it picks up even in the corners and around the baseboards! Recommend to anyone who can afford it.

Great purchase, replaced a dyson upright and makes everything so much easier not having to drag a heavy wired machine around. Only criticism is the battery life on full power; which I use for some carpets, Carpets come up much better with this compared to the upright, however as Its so fast to hoover them, not major Issue. Haven't ran the battery down when using on full power; however It does reduce the length of charge. Brilliant for all other uses, stairs, quick tidy up etc. Easy to clean

After buying this unit , I decided to vacuum my carpet that had just been vacuumed by a highly touted other brand.The dust canister of my new Dyson was full of missed dirt.A true superior unit.

Two issues: 1. Constantly having to hold down the on button to use hurts my hand. 2. The high suction drags on carpet, it would be nice if it had a carpet attachment.

I didn't know what I was for to be like Diana The unit is under powered. It will suck up a real light small rug which is a problem. On a thick quality rug it does not have the power to keep sucking or turning for longer than a few seconds. In that aspect it is very disappointing. send this text send this text

Great Suction
Bought this last month and am extremely happy. The suction is great and it’s easy to maneuver around things. So easy to switch between attachments and there’s quick and easy dumping of the canister. I vacuum all day with it because it’s so easy to use! Best part - no cord in the way!

Great features
It has very good suction but the only issue I have is the battery only stays charged for 7 minutes on max and approximately 15 minutes on the regular setting. At this point you have to charge it for 5 hours again. It is a brand new vacuum so I am not understanding why the battery does not stay charged longer.

Great features
We really like the new vacuum, it's very convenient. The only downside is if you use it in high suction it kills the batter the battery much faster.

Experience to date
I purchased the Dyson about a month ago. I had no expectations and was wary of the claims, but I'm happy to say that I've been proven wrong in every respect through its performance to date. I've been pleasantly surprised with the battery life on the low power setting and impressed with the suction uplift on max power setting.

Super machine
Bought my Dyson two weeks ago .. my third. I’ve looked at others and read reviews however I suffer a little arthritis and the Dyson V8 is extremely light, easy to operate and has two battery uses .. light and heavy using a mixture of lower battery and higher I was able to do tow flights of stairs( town house) the landings- and it had enough run time to hoover my hardwood floored living room, rug and kitchen vinyl.easy to re charge and the attachments were included. Great suction and floors felt really clean afterwards.
