This is my 3rd Hoover Power Scrub Carpet Cleaner! It is awesome! I purchased another brand and it did NOT remove much of the water like this one does. In fact, I used my new one for the first time yesterday and cleaned the area where I used the other cleaner, you would NOT believe what it brought up! I was shocked. This is a great product, easy to use, easy to clean and store. KUDOS Hoover for offering this wonderful machine! When you have DOGS in your home you need this cleaner! It's fabulous!

Bought over a year ago and does a great job on carpet and upholstery. This is my second Hoover Deluxe Carpet Cleaner. The tech and changes have made it easier to use and more efficient. Highly recommend this carpet and upholstery cleaner.

I bought this almost 2years ago now and the solution stop coming out. It only works if I had the solution were the water is supposed to go. It also makes a popping noise and I have tried getting assistance with this before buying another and I haven’t had any luck. I feel like I threw money away. I have a pet and I thought this would be very useful but not if I can’t use this to its full potential.

I absolutely love my Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe! While it is designed for carpets and area rugs, I actually use it mostly for mopping the tile floors throughout my entire home. I purchased the separate squeegee attachment specifically for my tile, and it works beautifully. The Pros: • Highly Versatile: Cleans carpets, rugs, and tile floors efficiently. • Easy Maintenance: The clean water tank and dirty water receptacle come apart effortlessly, making cleanup a breeze. • User-Friendly: The machine is incredibly lightweight and very easy to use. • Smart Design: While I wish the power cord were a bit longer, Hoover included a clever hook right under the handle that keeps the cord perfectly out of your way while working. My Pro-Tips for Extending Machine Life: To make sure this fantastic machine lasts as long as possible, I highly recommend adding these quick maintenance steps to your routine: 1. Flush the Lines: After mopping, leave the squeegee attached and run clean water through both sections of the tank. This flushes out any residual cleaner left in the internal lines. 2. Clear Leftover Water: After removing all the tanks, flip the machine upside down to drain any trapped water from the internal lines. 3. Empty the Clean Tank: You can easily drain remaining water from the clean tank by manually depressing the black plunger on the bottom of the base when the tank is removed. 4. Clean the Brushes: Use a small cat comb to easily pull out hair and debris accumulated in the spinning brushes. Overall, this is an excellent, versatile cleaner. With just a little extra care, it is a powerhouse for both carpets and hard floors!

I liked this machine well enough when it was new. It cleaned pretty good, not outstanding but pretty good. Good enough for me. But less than 5 years later the belt for the brushes stopped working. I don't know exactly when it stopped working, I just know it did. I still used it. I would just use my vacuum cleaner after wetting an area then use the suction on the Hoover to finish, it worked but what a pain. Now, still less than 5 years later, the jet no longer works. So what I have now is a very expensive super-vacuum. Which I didn't need because I have a ShopVac already. And can I get a new belt or figure out how to fix the jet? Of course not. Definitely never buying a Hoover again.

Pro - great cleaner. I have a high child and two dogs, so my carpets take a lot of abuse. This is my second Hoover, and I won’t go back to any other brand again. These types of brushes provide a much better clean than the traditional roll-based system. That said, I took off two stars because there is no difference whatsoever between the “wash” and “rinse” functions. I thought I was just getting water into an area that had a lot of old soap build up, but I wasn’t. It was also pulling solution, even in the rinse setting. I’m disappointed because that seemed like a cool feature, but ultimately, it doesn’t affect the effectiveness of the clean, which I care about the most.

I bought this machine last year however only opened it up today. This very important part was not attached to the machine!! I didn’t realize what it was until a tried to put the clean water tank on and all the water started leaking out. After many attempts to figure out what was happening it seems like this machine was made wrong and this piece wasn’t installed at all, just put in the box. Very frustrating!! I’m not sure what to do now.

Leaks all over the floor when you use the attachment hose after only a few uses. There are a few videos on youtube showing you how the pump design is garbage and people try to by pass it or weld it. I just can't believe how they are still selling the same trash design after years of people complaining.

It works very well. Worth the price . I would recommend it to a friend. I have not received an incentive for this review .

hard to clean..... dirt gets under the front scoop....makes a lot of noise.....can't remove the brushes to clean under them

Machine works okay, but more labor intensive when rinsing carpets after washing than i anticipated. The water/ soap container is also tricky to install after filling.

I loved this machine for the few times I used it, but less than a year of owning it during a wash it stopped working. Never turned on again. I didn’t even get to use the hand held pieces. Sadly I didn’t submit the information for the warranty for a replacement. I still have it hoping I can get it fixed but I don’t even know what’s wrong with it. It just won’t turn on.

Bought one and then bought another. Hard working, powerful, carpets and deeply cleaned and renewed.
