Oral-B iO Series 2 Electric Toothbrush

This toothbrush has a larger head than their first version so if you have a hard time reaching the back teeth in cheek side this brush will make it difficult, it is lighter in weight and the power button is less sensitive than their original model .so that is a plus. Power wise it works fine with 3 speeds to choose from .

I would give zero stars because it didn't work despite being brand new out of the box. Definitely returning and choosing something different based on other reviews (should have read them first).

Despite keeping the head separate when not in use / cleaning regularly there is a fuzzy black mildew in the main body of the brush. It shows up on the head after a few days post replacing as well. Based on a simple google search it seems like a lot of people have this issue.

Oh dear ones, Unbeknownst to me, my gums have deteriorated over years. As I toiled in raising kids, maintaining a household and a declining marriage my gums were the least of my concern. I have recently been made aware that the cost of this oversight is VERY expensive. If I could turn back the clock , I would invest in this right away . It’s an act of self love to take care of your mouth and this highly advanced toothbrush will be there right by your side.

This is an expensive piece of garbage. It does not charge.

I had an oral braun. This is extremely quiet. If u have to get up early then this is for you. It is like a royal royce of toothbrushes.

I was so happy to buy this electric toothbrush! My teeth are really clean after using this toothbrush!

Is this toothbrush for about one month. It has terrible drainage on the brush attachment. Mold is able to grow quickly inside the attachment. Unless you want to disconnect your brush from the base after each use, find a different brush.

Moldy and rusty after a week! Disinfected it, and back again right away even with a new brush head. Do not buy🤢

The one I bought from target didn’t work! Would not turn on! I was so sad too I was so excited to use it!

5 stars for teeth-cleaning ability! I changed to Oral B at the recommendation of my periodontist as I have a history of gum recession. I've enjoyed the teeth-cleaning features of this brush. Unfortunately, I've had recurring issues with keeping this toothbrush clean. After just 2 months of regular use I began to detect a mildewy smell. The design, while sleek, tends to keep water inside - both the brush head and the handle head. I replace my brush head regularly but that does not solve the issue of the mold inside the handle head. I've now had the brush for 5 months and clean it every day according to Oral B instructional videos (disassemble and thoroughly rinse and dry both parts, allow to dry separately overnight); however, this still hasn't solved the problem. It's nearly impossible to dry all the crevices out completely after rinsing, and the brush head can't stand up on its own to dry overnight. I've soaked it in vinegar, denture cleaner, soap, etc., and still struggled to get rid of the smell. I don't really want to clean my teeth with something that molds easily - and I'm really bummed about it. I might switch to a different toothbrush model that doesn't have so many crevices.

I received this toothbrush yesterday and was a little disappointed. I believe the advertising is somewhat misleading, details below, and will return it soon. My two big issues are:1 - the toothbrush heads are different that the older versions and, from what I can find out, the old brushes are not interchangeable with the new model. I did not see that documented anywhere and 2 - Also, I think, the advertising implies there is a lighted timer display on the brush someplace. If there is, I cannot find it on the brush.

Full of mold after a few weeks. I noticed the brush head looked bluish and took a closer look, it was black mold. Tried anew brush head, same thing. The inside gets full of mold even if you rinse the insides after every use. A disgusting design.

My dentist insisted I get an Oral B IO because I have crowded teeth and I would get a better clean. I ditched my sonicare for this toothbrush and I regret it deeply. I just got through picking an inch thick layer of black mold from the toothbrush connector. It is so poorly designed to have that issue. I’m mortified.

Will not come on or even charge. Returning.

I should've listened to the other reviews. I dried it off after every use, but six months later, it's growing mold inside.

I've been using a manual toothbrush my entire life. So 34 years... Decided to finally try and electric one and this one was on sale at the time. I love it. Even on the first setting my teeth were cleaner than they have felt for a while. And all over. Not just the front ones. It also already helped with some staining on a tooth that sits a little further back than the rest. I haven't had any issues charging it like others have stated. I wait until it's completely dry and then set it on the charger. My ONLY gripe is the red light for when you're brushing too hard, you can't see if when you're brushing your bottom teeth lol otherwise it's a great toothbrush!

The charger doesn’t work well. Horrible design.

It doesn’t work. The toothbrush will not charge so essentially dead and Target will not let me exchange it. Definitely would not recommend.
