APEC Water Systems ROES-PHUV75 Undersink Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System

Filter was delivered in good package and include all parts and instaructions. Installation was also relatevely easy part and system works perfectly fine. Problem started when filter was used after 1 hour. Water came out very hot and cannot be drinkable. After 15-20 seconds water temerature was normal (same as inlet). Problem is UV light is always on which heats up water inside the filter and you have to drain it for 15-20 second before use 1. Huge wast of water 2. Electricity use for light 3. Cost of replacement UV light because of high usage APEC admited the problem with design but offered solution to fix it for additional cost. System is already expensive and I see no reason to pay even more to solve APEC problems. Returning this filter.

UV light will heat up water so need to drain large amounts of water before you can drink it

This system has been awesome! To have a complete system and fresh clean water without having to go to the store and fill up bottles is amazing! The only complaint I have is the UV light makes the water that comes out Hot even though I tied the source of the system into the cold water. But other than that it twists great and was a great deal!

Upon install had a small dribble. Mfg sent a replacement fitting free once I called them. Still leaked though, I discovered it was a 1/4" hose with a burr on it. Note, this wasn't a hose I had installed, was a factory installed one. But could happen to anyone. Check your hose OD for any gouges or scrape marks if you have a leak

Easy to install, instructions are easy to follow and the water taste great.

I bought this system a week ago and also recommended to my daughter that luckily only lives 30 min from me. I went to install the system this past Saturday to find no instructions for installation. I started to watch several YouTubes on the installation process and then thought to call my daughter. She opened her box and found paper instructions and we were able to install it properly after much frustration. So far so good but not a good start.

This RO system was simple to install and produced the water results I was looking for. Couldn’t be happier with APEC and the products they produce!

I bought this system because i couldn't trust my city water. I had a faucet style filter and knew that was not doing a lot but it was something. I finally decided to get an RO system after reading a book about all the estrogenic and chemical pollutants in our water. I decided on Apec after several days of reading and researching. Spoke with a friend that is in the commercial water treatment industry and got his opinion. After speaking with him i got the system with the UV light and calcium cartridge. The system was very easy to install and direction were superb. The faucet is very high quality and i am very happy with the system. With the calcium cartridge the water tastes amazing. The only bad i can say is i wish i had ordered the flow switch that makes the UV light only come on with water flow. As it is the water sits in the UV cartridge and heats up so you get warm water for about 5-6 sec. Doesn't sound like a lot but it is a lot of waste. I have unplugged the UV until i get the flow switch. Overall great system and highly recommend.

We bought this system in January and we are very happy with the taste and purity of the water. This is not the first RO system in our house and so we have a lot to compare it to. We connected it to the water ionizer and can control the PH of the water to our liking. The only thing we would like to improve on it is the remineralization. Right now it only adds calcium. But this is not a problem either, you can add trace minerals by yourself. It's not hard to install, the instructions are simple. Nothing leaks anywhere. I also like the fact that the filters and UV lamps can be purchased online - no need to search for anything on the Internet or in stores. Everything is very convenient. Overall, we are pleased. Thank you.

Our unit failed after 15 months, flooding and ruining our cabinet and wood floor. The point of failure was related to the UV system. Because we didn’t notice that the warranty extends to two years if you register soon after purchase, our product is not under warranty. Not what we expected from a product of this price; we won’t be buying again.

I bought this like 3 weeks ago and I am very happy with it.

Very happy with this RO unit! The water is fantastic and will work perfect in our coffee machine (primarily). I called support to discuss additional tubing and connectors I needed to extend the unit and to add a UV flow switch. I placed the unit directly below the kitchen sink (in the basement). The support contacts (Yadira & Ken) were friendly, courteous and professional recommending what I needed for this.

I bought my water system ROES-PHUV75 about a month ago and I can tell you that if you are planning to invest in a drinking water system filtration, this is the one you should get!. It was easy to install, even though I needed to watch a video I found on Youtube on how to install the system step by step many times to make sure I was doing it right, but the manual together with this video it make a way easy installation process. I discard the water 3 times due to that the water was still looking very cloudy. The tap water from South Texas is horrible the TDS meter was showing 878 sometimes even higher than the 900s now my filtered water shows on the TDS 32-36 I was kind of wondering and worry about if 32 TDS was okay. So after I use the formula to calculate how much percentage the water system is actually cleaning the water the result is that the water system is actually removing about 96% of total dissolved solids, which is pretty good. The water is delicious. No odor or weird taste. The only thing that bothers me a little is that some times the water comes out warm for about the first 20 seconds or so and you may see that the water looks cloudy and with particles but what you are seeing is actually all the bubbles that the warm water formes, this happens because the UV Light filter. Overall I am happy with my purchase and I'm recommending the product to all my family and friends!

This unit makes incredibly tasty water. As the Waterboy said "That's some mighty fine H2O". I'm pleased with the quality and performance of this easy to install system.

After a few other systems being purchased this one beat them all!! Our water is better that any bottled water around and our coffee tastes really good now as well. We have extremely hard desert water in Henderson NV and this filter system takes care of everything perfectly!! A must buy over everything on the market. This is the fourth system we have purchased and will be the last. We finally have perfect drinking water, ice cubes and amazing coffee and tea flavor! Thank you APEC. We will refer this system to everyone we know!
