Pet Elite is an Excellent Machine
Excellent machine. The light lets you see what you are picking up, back up and all is gone. You can tell how effective it is by all the hair and dust that fills the container. Will get a second battery for longer use.

Onepwr Evolve Pet Elite
I have had Hoovers for the past forty years, the last being a wind tunnel cordless and my old Lynx is still going strong but this vacuum is not at all what I expected. The first one stopped working after two months and I could not get it to come on. The replacement is working fine but turning it off and on is so difficult that I get so frustrated and the battery is so short that I don’t get my vacuuming done before it dies. Getting the replacement in itself was chore also.

Great while it lasted
I have had this vacuum for about a year. I loved the vacuum before I started experiencing problems with the brushroll. I bought a replacement for it yet and it goes back to the same problem.

Best Self Standing upright. 4yrs and counting
4 years of daily use and still going strong. Recommend the 8 Amp Hour battery’. The small battery’s don’t do well, but the vacuum itself has held up great. It gets used almost daily. Be sure to clean and service the head, brush, and air channels in the head, it will keep performance top notch. The fact that it’s an up right, self standing vacuum is huge. The stick vacuums are overrated.

Major defect
Good vacuum and convenient to use without power cord, but the connection to the vacuum head breaks or shorts out so that the light and beater does not work. This was also an issue with the model prior to the onepwr model. this really reduced the life of the vacuum. If I did not have so much invested in the batteries, I would try something else.

Handle breaks off
The handle just broke off the second Hoover Evolve that I purchased. Can t use it without a handle I will not purchase another one.

It’s great, till it isn’t.
If Hoover would find a different on/off switch and hose supplier this vacuum would be perfect. I’ve had three of the pet elite vacs and all have had switches that quit working. I had to push the button over and over and over again to get it to turn on or off and had the hose between the vac head and the canister split. I had a three year warranty which was good but it was a hassle to have to deal with a vac that wasn’t working properly. I’m hesitant to buy another due to these issues.

Small but Mighty
Had mine for 2yrs now. Still going strong. With 2 dogs and daily traffic it has been the best vac purchase. Not heavy so maneuvers easily. Suction is great and roller does not get full of debris.

Better than original
This is my 3rd Hoover in this model line, though this one is an improvement over the previous model (which I had 2 of because the hose broke and they replaced the entire unit) as it does not use a typical brush head but a plastic or rubber style head. It's much quieter yet every bit as, if not more powerful. The battery is larger than the previous one though I don't think it lasts any longer. Overall, I like it and would recommend it. I'm only giving it 4 stars due to the price.

OK Vacuum
The battery life is terrible. Have to charge it every other day. I have another OnePwr battery that I use from an older model, and I have to charge that one every other day. Hope something can be done to correct the battery life. Otherwise, vacuum works great for picking up dirt and hair. Like the light on it.

Great suction but no attachments
The Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet Elite is a fantastic lightweight vacuum. The additional light feature shows ALL the dog and cat hair as well as any debris. This vacuum does not come with our have any attachments, which wouldn't be an issue if the profile of the vacuum was smaller, allowed it do easily move under sofas or have a crevice tool for cleaning under and around appliances.

Keeps flashing lights
I got this vacuume awhile back but I only used it for about 2 months and loved that its cordless but its already broke down 2x and so I stopped using it and tried to troubleshoot it. I got it to work again for about a week and then it broke again. When I say broke, I think its just something with the sensor bc the motor works but it just wont spin. Ive cleaned it out and everything and still nothing. I dont know how to fix it but dont want to pay for a new one.

Don't buy this one..
Rarely used and it still didn't last more than 2 years. Battery charger went rendering it useless.
