Very happy with the KF8 coffee machine. It was cheaper than the Delonghi and actually makes hot coffee. I would certainly recommend the KitchenAid KF8.

Makes a great coffee
Makes a great coffee, but uses a lot of water before and after its coffee making process. For every coffee or two made, the machine purges itself around 1 cup of water. So it's pretty heavy on water consumption and obviously fills the waste trays quite quickly with waste water. Apart from that, 2 months on it seems like a good machine that makes good coffee.

It is simple to operate, quiet, with many features to explore. Pity the milk function does not double when making two cups together.

What a great choice we made

We looked at lots of different machines before deciding on the KitchenAid KR8. It’s just marvellous - lots of of coffee options and 6 profiles which is perfect for our family. Perfect crema, easy to use - honestly we couldn’t be happier !

As with any coffee appliance, there’s a bit of maintenance involved — such as replacing the filter, deep cleaning, and regular rinsing or dispensing — but fortunately, most of these tasks can also be done with the press of a button. Overall, we’re very satisfied with our purchase and would definitely recommend it to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had or returned several coffee/espresso makers over many months and years before purchasing the KitchenAidKF8. It is simply the best machine you can possibly buy. Specifically, it makes great coffee, Preso drinks, and the other specialty drinks along with making excellent froth milk. The most important thing as well to consider is that this machine is super easy to clean and the brew group can come out periodically for a thorough cleaning unlike other machines available on the market.

Disappointing Frother
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KF8 was bought as an addition to the De’Longhi Eletta we have to end the debate over decaf coffee or regular coffee. The Eletta always produces perfect milk drinks with a domed froth top. The KF8, however , falls flat with a thin bubbled layer on top of the milk. The menu design on the touch screen is impressive. I just wish Kitchen Aid could give us more froth.

Excellent espresso! Annoying frothing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it makes a nice espresso, it’s quiet and clean, but the milk frothing leaves a lot to be desired and I would not pay the high price for what you get— A room temp latte that needs to be microwaved. However I cannot go back to my pod system because I now realize that tastes like garbage so I’m making the best of heating my milk myself. Pros: excellent espresso, brews quietly, cleans itself, beautiful display Cons: does not get milk drinks hot enough (120-140F)- barely warm and cools off quickly, it takes a lot of steps to clean the milk hose (wish it was just a traditional frothing wand which is easier to clean), you can only do 6.3oz of milk frothing max however the actual amount of milk it dispenses is about 4 oz of milk so it only makes small lattes.

I would give 5 stars if they can fix this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving the machine but the two con I have with the system is the milk temperature and internet connectivity. The milk system is not hot at all. It's luke warm. I have to put it in the microwave to warm it up. Also, other newer machine can connect online to do an update. If the system can be updated over the air with they're drink programming would be a huge plus.

Best "superautomatic" on the market, couple nits..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very well made machine, easy to use & clean. Good selection of drinks. A couple nits: - For milk-containing drinks, temperature can be a bit low despite setting of 'hot'. Coffee temperature is perfect, but it seems the milk is not quite as hot and cools things down quickly. - Milk container lid is not a press-fit and comes off easily. Should have a gasket that seals it to the base. - Customization settings are saved whenever a particular drink is adjusted, so the next person to select that drink 'inherits' those settings if they are not careful. Profiles help, but when a large number of people are using the machine, one needs to point out this cautionary step. - Similar to above, any time settings for a Profile's drink are adjusted, it stores them as the next default, so one must be careful to reset their drink to original value when experimenting with various drink adjustments. - Only way to truly get back to default drink customization settings is via a factory reset, which wipes out all profiles.
