A: This honey works for all types of hair. But for the finner/thinner hair, you want to use a smaller amount as it's a heavy product with a thick consistency. My hair is super thick, so I use a bigger amount on my curly hair. But it locks in moisture which is great for your hair during the chilly winter months. This is a staple product that I use daily on my hair.

My hair appreciates this shampoo.
I love this shampoo. In the past, I’ve used Melanin Haircare Reviving Shampoo but it would strip my hair of all its oils and moisture and truly left my strands squeaky clean. I think it’s good to use it when you want your hair to have a true fresh start. But I often don’t need that. Camille’s Sweet Ginger shampoo leave my hair feeling clean and it cleans my hair without stripping it of all oils and my hair feels light and cleansed. It’s perfect and so gentle on my hair. I love it

It smelled rancid and I didn’t like it. As a shampoo it felt way too gentle and I had to she a lot to get it to lather with water. The bottles are terrible and hard to squeeze. Wouldn’t buy it again.

Causing hair Breakage, formula change?
I’m not sure what happened but my hair has been breaking off when I use this. It even smells different and the color appears to be a lot darker than it used to be. The old formula did not cause breakage in my hair like this one does. Sad.

It’s too gentle to use as a shampoo. It dosnt sud and dosnt clean very well it’s definitely strictly a RINSE. It’s just upsetting because i️ bought this in a set and am having to buy a different shampoo that actually cleans. My fault really.

Clean without drying
This product is effective for both me and my daughter. Both of us have curly hair that responds differently to different products. This is one of few products we can share. After using this my hair is bouncier and my curls are more defined without being weighed down. Good for coarse hair
Pleasantly surprised. I found one bottle on clearance so decided to give it a try. I have a lot of hair and it’s very coarse. It washed it quite well and left it nice and soft. It took about a palm full to wash my hair because of the thickness of my hair so wouldn’t use it for every wash but maybe once a week as a treat for my hair.

Great clarifying shampoo! Low porosity, protein-sensitive friendly :)
This is a great CLARIFYING SHAMPOO. I would not recommend using it for a daily/weekly shampoo routine. You should be using a hydrating shampoo for that. Only use this when you feel that your hair needs to be deeply cleansed to remove product build-up WITHOUT stripping. This rinse delivers! I only use it once a month to reset my scalp and hair. As some others have recommended, I use this to cleanse my hair twice, followed by a hydrating shampoo once and finishing with a conditioner/deep conditioner treatment. Personally I like the scent and that it doesnt linger in your hair. Has great lather and detangling/slip properties also. 10/10 recommended if you have low porosity, dense hair.

waxy feeling while washing, left hair dry
first, let me say, I have fine/thin/wavy hair, one section of my hair is very curly, and the rest is textured/ wavy. I was hoping for this to work, I purchased the Ginger shampoo with the Moroccan Pear Conditioning Custard, the ingredients are curly girl-approved and sound very healthy, although the shampoo does have Clarifying Ingredients and castor oil which can cause build-up, The conditioner does have Glycerin (if that's something you're trying to avoid) but I still wanted to give it a try. The shampoo smell was a very faint ginger smell, which was great because I am very sensitive to scents, however, the feel of the shampoo in my hair did not feel good at all, it felt like a rich oil and waxy feeling, no matter how much I rinsed it felt like the waxy feel would not come out. It gave me immediate flash dry and I could not wait to use the conditioner to see if I can get moisture/slip. The conditioner, the smell is amazing, there is a fruity scent, not too strong, It did not have any slip, and did not feel very moisturizing at all. by the time I got out of my shower, my hair looked like wet straw, some strands were falling out, and it was a tangled mess. This might be good for someone that has very curly hair or oily hair, but for someone with fine/thin/ hair that tends to be on the drier side, this may not work for you. I will not purchase again, and Thank You Target for refunding me.

Easy Application but Slightly drying
High to Medium porosity hair, 3c-4a curls, fine strand thickness, shoulder length hair. It was easy to apply to my scalp and hair lengths, which I really liked. It has a nice sweet gingery smell. I oiled my hair overnight before washing it and still found it slightly drying with my hair feeling stringy in some sections. But I was able to detangle very easily with my hair in sections using my hands. Overall decent experience.
