Garbage
This thing has been a nightmare from the beginning. If you're looking for a single cup coffee maker that can accommodate kcups, this one isn't it. I've experienced the following issues: 1. Only 1/4 mug coffee actually makes it into the cup. The rest of the water pours out of the kcup only once the lid is opened again after brewing. 2. Even when a full serving of brown water miraculously makes it into the mug, most of the coffee powder remains in the kcup untouched. You can imagine what this "coffee" tastes like... 3. The kcup explodes during brewing, spilling coffee/water down from the kcup compartment during the brew cycle. I'd give this thing zero stars if I could. Just absolute garbage.

So far, so good
I just received the Hamilton Beach Flex Brew. This was to replace the second Keurig mini brewer that I had that kept breaking down. The Hamilton Beach Flex Brew is sturdy and the water comes out steaming. I like the option of Regular or Bold Brew cycles.

Flexbrew Single saves time & space
I have used a flexbrew combo carafe/single for years and I love it. But I haven’t made a carafe of coffee in years. This smaller footprint single is the best of both worlds as I use grounds. It has the flexibility of pods which some of my company prefer.

Exactly what I was looking for
We normally make our coffee using an aeropress and a bur grinder. With my upcoming shoulder surgery. I needed to find a way to be able to make coffee with one hand and still have good coffee. This fits the bill in several ways. One it fits my travel tumbler which is pretty large. The water reservoir only holds enough to make the size coffee that you want. There's no guessing as to whether there's enough water in the reservoir. It empties it every time and I like that feature. The coffee's good whether it's made by pods or with the included ground coffee holder. It's compact and doesn't take up much space on the counter. The only thing I wish it had was better rubber feet on the bottom so that it didn't slide on the counter too easily.

excellent little machine
Works exactly as it should which as we all know is rare these days. I've used it 2 x day for the last few weeks and so far so good. It's a bit tall so make sure it will fit under your cabinets.

Great single serve coffee maker
The construction is sturdy, the coffee holder lid stays in place and I like that the water reservoir is separate!

My coffee is great
I love the coffee maker. I can use the k-cup or add my own coffee. The best part is it’s quick for a large cup of coffee and it has a brew basket to store the reusable cup.

Great for travel
Bought to take on road trips as often hotel coffee makers are not the most hygienic. This is compact and doesn't take up much space.

I am Disapointed with this Coffee Machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This single serve coffee maker can be used for either pods or ground coffee, but it is a kind of dispointed. I thought that it could be a fast coffee maker. However, it’s not the fastest brew process, it’s a bit noisy, and the coffee taste is weak, even on the bold setting. It is difficult to see the water level when I manully refill the water tank.

Flexbrew Single Serve Coffee Maker - a winner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this product. Its size is perfect for a small kitchen or even if you have a big kitchen but want to save on counterspace. Stylish and compact. I have a small, narrow kitchen and this fit perfectly on my shelf. You can use your favorite k cup brand with included adapter but it also comes with another k cup adapter to use with your own fave ground coffee. Reusable mesh filter is another money saving and environmentally friendly feature. Clean up is quick and easy. Cup atand serves not only for a shorter cup but as storage for one k cup adapter when the other is in use. Max water is 14 oz. Two buttons to choose regular or bold brew. No timers or presetting features but for its size, style, space, cost and environmental saving features its an all around winner for me.

Start Button a non-starter
Once I get the start button "REG" to light up I am happy with this machine. I have written to the company and there answer is I need to "prime" the unit! No matter what I do the "REG" button does not light up until I have tried several times. The "BOLD" button seems to work immediately, but that doesn't solve the problem. My review is really for the Customer Service which is really lacking. I do enjoy my coffee, I do like the convenience of pods. I have had some Hamilton Beach products in the past, toaster, coffee maker, immersion blender and been very happy with them. But the new Hamilton Beach has work to do to get me to buy another product of theirs,

A good concept, but some parts could be improved
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are many really good features about this single cup coffee maker you have the option of using regular coffee, meaning ground coffee, or coffee pods. There is also an option to make your coffee bold or regular. The directions are straightforward, and the machine is easy to use. There is a separate reservoir for water, with the 14 oz limit. It is not difficult to change from using a K-Cup to fresh ground coffee. There are a few things that I felt could be improved. First of all, the machine is rather big and takes up a great deal of space on my countertop, and if I'd wanted to use it at work it would take up too much desk or cubicle space. With the short cord, which I know is necessary, there are limited options on where to plug it in at. The water. Water reservoir is small. I understand that this is a one cup machine, but if I were at work I might want another cup of coffee. Maybe after lunch. So I'd have to go and refill the reservoir again. So the option of a reservoir a little larger could make a difference. One other concern that I have has to do with the environment. The plastic in the k pods does not break down biologically, and ends up in the landfills. Landfills, it would be very helpful if there were a way to create something easy like a k-pod but maybe encased in material such as linen or mesh that would break down.
