The construction is sturdy, the coffee holder lid stays in place and I like that the water reservoir is separate!

I love the coffee maker. I can use the k-cup or add my own coffee. The best part is it’s quick for a large cup of coffee and it has a brew basket to store the reusable cup.

Got it for half price and always had great experience with Hamilton Beach products.

Bought to take on road trips as often hotel coffee makers are not the most hygienic. This is compact and doesn't take up much space.

This is my third Hamilton Beach Single Serve Coffee Maker and I will always buy Hamilton Beach.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This single serve coffee maker can be used for either pods or ground coffee, but it is a kind of dispointed. I thought that it could be a fast coffee maker. However, it’s not the fastest brew process, it’s a bit noisy, and the coffee taste is weak, even on the bold setting. It is difficult to see the water level when I manully refill the water tank.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this product. Its size is perfect for a small kitchen or even if you have a big kitchen but want to save on counterspace. Stylish and compact. I have a small, narrow kitchen and this fit perfectly on my shelf. You can use your favorite k cup brand with included adapter but it also comes with another k cup adapter to use with your own fave ground coffee. Reusable mesh filter is another money saving and environmentally friendly feature. Clean up is quick and easy. Cup atand serves not only for a shorter cup but as storage for one k cup adapter when the other is in use. Max water is 14 oz. Two buttons to choose regular or bold brew. No timers or presetting features but for its size, style, space, cost and environmental saving features its an all around winner for me.

Once I get the start button "REG" to light up I am happy with this machine. I have written to the company and there answer is I need to "prime" the unit! No matter what I do the "REG" button does not light up until I have tried several times. The "BOLD" button seems to work immediately, but that doesn't solve the problem. My review is really for the Customer Service which is really lacking. I do enjoy my coffee, I do like the convenience of pods. I have had some Hamilton Beach products in the past, toaster, coffee maker, immersion blender and been very happy with them. But the new Hamilton Beach has work to do to get me to buy another product of theirs,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are many really good features about this single cup coffee maker you have the option of using regular coffee, meaning ground coffee, or coffee pods. There is also an option to make your coffee bold or regular. The directions are straightforward, and the machine is easy to use. There is a separate reservoir for water, with the 14 oz limit. It is not difficult to change from using a K-Cup to fresh ground coffee. There are a few things that I felt could be improved. First of all, the machine is rather big and takes up a great deal of space on my countertop, and if I'd wanted to use it at work it would take up too much desk or cubicle space. With the short cord, which I know is necessary, there are limited options on where to plug it in at. The water. Water reservoir is small. I understand that this is a one cup machine, but if I were at work I might want another cup of coffee. Maybe after lunch. So I'd have to go and refill the reservoir again. So the option of a reservoir a little larger could make a difference. One other concern that I have has to do with the environment. The plastic in the k pods does not break down biologically, and ends up in the landfills. Landfills, it would be very helpful if there were a way to create something easy like a k-pod but maybe encased in material such as linen or mesh that would break down.

I like making just one cup at a time. When you make a pot of coffee you waste half the pot. Using the Flex Brew actually saves money. And it works great. I would recommend it to anyone.

The coffee maker accommodates K cups and single serve pods and has a unique cup rest that accepts regular cups plus tall travel mugs. The coffee maker has an easy view water window visible from the front and side to let the user realize how much water has been added. The unit has an easy to follow instructions on the top of the coffee maker. This Hamilton Beach coffee maker is an excellent compact unit that can brew up to 10 ounces with each use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third flexbrew that I have had. Due to the horrible tap water here, they constantly need to be cleaned of salt deposits. However, I do like the ability of having a fresh brewed cup of coffee when I want one. The problem I have with the new item is that in order to make a cup of coffee, you have to refill the unit with the amount of water each time. I usually drink larger cups of coffee so I need to fill it twice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the afternoons, I sometimes want a single cup of good coffee but don’t want to reheat leftovers or brew a new pot. That’s when I go to my FlexBrew Single Serve Coffee Maker. It has bold or regular brew options which I always want on my coffee makers since I prefer strong coffee. The coffee tastes better because the water is added fresh each time for each cup, too. And there aren’t issues hoping I am using a big enough cup to brew into since I use the cup to measure and add the water. It does make some surprising noises while heating the water. The height and length is almost too large for my tiny kitchen and low cupboards, so where it has to sit on the counter makes the water level window and brew controls inaccessible. Since it’s not plugged in until you use it (another plus), I can move it out slightly to use the controls. Its small width is convenient, though. I have not used the included holder for ground coffee because I don’t care for the work required to clean them; I only use single-serve packs or pods in it. I haven’t cleaned it yet—haven’t had it long enough—but the directions to do so seem straightforward and simple enough. I enjoy having the option to make a single cup of good coffee rather than a whole pot.

The Hamilton Beach FlexBrew also comes with a basket mesh filter which gives me the option to make non kcup loose ground coffee or loose tea of my choice.

But this product is now my go to for single coffee brewing. I would recommend this brewer and quite competitive with the Keurig. Keep ground coffee on hand in case you run out of the cupsA+++

It's very convenient, it brews up to 14 ounces at a time. We like to use the ground up kind but it also works with the coffee.pods. The coffee maker is very easy to use and easily cleans up. I love how the water is easily poured and the place where the coffee grounds or pods go opens nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying my new Flex Brew coffee maker. I have used it every day since I got it, about 2 weeks ago. It was easy to learn how to operate it . You just pour in water from your cup, up to 14oz, sit your cup under the maker, lift the top and put in a coffee pod or the basket for ground coffee, choose to touch the button on the side for regular or bold coffee. It takes about a minute to heat the water and you have a hot cup of coffee. I recommend this coffee maker to anyone who likes good hot coffee.
