HR and MIN buttons don't work
I bought the 5 cupper today and the HR and MIN don't work. According to the reviews, which I wish I had read first, I see I'm not the only one this happened to. I hate returning things. I could have bought a 12 cup for the same price. Returning it tomorrow and buying a different brand.

Stay warm feature
Disappointed that the warmer cannot be turned off. I usually make 2 cups, which I pour into an insulated mug before I leave the house, so the burner does not need to stay on for two hours. I have to unplug it to turn off that feature. Other than that, this coffee maker works well for me.

Great pot!
This is a very nice little coffee pot. I’ve had one for a few years that ran flawlessly. It’s easy to use and clean and it brews a good cup of coffee. The option to brew a bolder cup allows for the water to steep in the grounds a bit longer, truly making for a more intense flavor. I dropped and broke the carafe so I had to replace it. I had been so happy with it that I didn’t even bother shopping for another model. I just stuck with what I knew to be a great product.

Leaks after a few months
This is my second time purchasing a small-sized Hamilton Beach coffee maker. My first purchase was without the timer function, and then I bought this one, hoping the issues with the first one wasn't down to the model. After a few months of use, both models started leaking coffee down the back of the maker down to the hot plate while making coffee. By the time it starts malfunctioning, the return window has passed so I've been stuck. It's worth spending more on a higher quality item that will work longer than a few months.

Carafe Leaks
I have had this coffee maker only 6 months. I have taken very good care of it but starting about a month ago the carafe began to leak coffee all over the place when I go to pour myself a cup. I am unsure what happened to cause this but it happens every single time and it’s getting annoying cleaning up spilled coffee.

Programmable Ready When I Awake
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving my new Hamilton Beach 5 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker because I can always have a fresh cup of coffee ready for me when I get up and take a cup with me on the go. I like how easy this is to program and it is simple to use. This brews a pot of coffee good and doesn't take long to brew a pot either. This coffeemaker is really sturdier and the pot is made really well too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this Hamilton Beach coffee maker to sample in exchange for my honest opinion. When I recd this it was right on time. My older cousin came to live with us. She's suffering from mental issues due to us birth contracting covid. So I figured this is small enough for her to use for her daily tea and would be easy enough to pour. I love that it's so compact, fits nicely on my apartment counter. I also love that you can remove to pour and the brewing stops. The directions were simple and easy to follow. The brewing was very fast. My only drawback was when pouring there was a lot of spillage from the spout. I think if it was longer that would help. Other than that I'd rate it a 5.
