Hot garbage

Total crap, broke within a year and their warranty is just a run around. Also, worst coffee maker I've had in years. Don't fill it too full or it overflows the grounds. Stay away if you want something reliable and can make coffee without grounds in it!

Regarding overflowing grounds, we do recommend using a flush level of grounds in the provided scoop; heaping scoops can lead to too much grounds causing an overflow. We also suggest using a medium grind coffee rather than a finer grind, and not using both a paper filter and the mesh filter together, to help avoid overflowing. If the coffee maker currently doesn’t appear to have power at all, we recommend disconnecting it from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting, to reset it. Schedule a brew and keep it hot

We love the interface and its features especially the ability to schedule the start to brew. We load up before we go to sleep and timer the start just before we wake up to have coffee ready in the morning. And also it keeps the coffee warm for a long time.

Cheap-Will break in less than a year!

Looks great and then breaks before even reaching a year. This is a cheap coffee pot dressed up as a nice design. I am so disappointed especially with Crate & Barrel telling me to take it up with the manufacturer. I do and they say, "mam, this is a business" and will not be replacing it. Save your money and go back to basic Mr. Coffee.

Only lasts a year

Worked fine for about a year and the. Just stopped working No error message to decode or anything. Tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but it does nothing. Just sits while the app tells me it’s brewing. Waste of money.

Beautiful look but lacks good brewing capability

Form over function: loved the way this looked and it matched all our appliances. Made hot coffee which I love, but didn’t have flavorful coffee. Tried variety of grinds and filters but the machine doesn’t seem to brew high quality beans well. Returned.

A BIG Problem with the design.

I like my drip coffee maker but it does drip when released from the plate. Also, after cleaning the carafe, the top feature did not settle into the carafe correctly and now it will not unscrew.. This is as problem because the coffee comes out of the top instead of the spout when poured.

Once the coffee maker has started brewing, we do not recommend the carafe be removed until the coffee has completed brewing. We're sorry to hear you had an issue getting the carafe lid on correctly, and we recommend removing the lid and re-installing it to ensure it is properly seated. This will resolve any issues you've had with the coffee coming out of the lid rather than the spout.

Wouldn’t recommend - doesn’t wear well

I’ve had mine for a few years and the digital clock has slowly lost most of the ability to show the time and the carafe/pourer started to decay fairly early on.

Pretty but dumb- Find something else.

This is a very pretty coffee maker. The advantage stops there. Its brain is over complicated, and like an over tired preschooler, it easily gets confused and refuses to function. Stumble out of bed for coffee? Wait… what temperature did you want?….oh, you wanted me to make the whole pot, and not just 3 cups?…..let me think….Ill just spin here for a few minutes….naw. No coffee yet…. Unplug me and come back in a minute….Ok. I’m back…How many cups? what strength?….spin….wait….how strong?….spin……………..Call GE to return it? Oh no, you don’t. Unplug, wait a minute, still no? Try again…..OK , it works….but It’s noon, and I can’t deal with this without a cup of coffee. Every morning, There is no morning joy in living with this coffee pot.But it is pretty.

Love this coffee maker 🤩

Love this coffee maker! My favorite thing is being able to choose the temperature! Never have seen that feature. Finally a nice and hot cuppa in my own home!!

Stopped working.

We have had the product for about one year and it stopped working. When we set the amount of water and start, it makes a small clicking noise and nothing happens. For this expensive coffe make to last a year is completely unacceptable.

Hope you enjoy coffee grounds

Loved this coffee pot when we first used it at a VRBO but after buying one there's regrets. Love how coffee stays warm in the carafe for hours and the speed at which is brews, but maybe the speed is its downfall. When using the manual and scoop provided with their ratio of grounds to water the grounds overflow consistently regardless of paper filter or a screen. The bloom head is covered and grounds are everywhere in the coffee. We've tried multiple times to adjust the amount of scoops, the brand coffee and the brew settings. It'll be better for a few mornings then the next day the grounds explode everywhere again. Using the bold seemed like it should be the slowest water flow but maybe it doesn't work on our specific coffee maker? For only making 10 cups to begin with, we throw the last 1 or 2 cups away due to grounds. The constant grounds in the coffee and cleaning the head make us regret the amount spent on this coffee maker.

Poor quality

The handle is peeling. I have a cafe gas range that is also falling apart. Maybe the cafe line is the problem.

Nice!

This is such a nice coffee maker. Easy to setup and use. Coffee has a great flavor and no "burnt" taste. The carafe keeps the coffee hot for a bit more than 2 hours. So far, we love everything about it. Did I mention how nice it looks on the counter? Matches my other Cafe' appliances perfectly. A little expensive, but very happy with our purchase.

Coffee temperature is not hot as advertised

I purchased the Cafe drip coffee maker because it says that you can select the temperature for brewing up to 205 degrees but the coffee is 160 degrees as soon as it is brewed. I have to heat it in the microwave after it brews to get it hotter. I had coffee at a friend's house and noticed that it was hot like I prefer and she had a Mr. Coffee drip maker - will try that brand next time.

Additionally, the temperature setting is based on the temperature of the water when they contact the coffee grounds. The temperature will be lower in the carafe at the end of the brew. Pretty but doesn’t work with Alexa as stated

Beautiful looking but directions on connecting to wifi are missing steps and impossible to work with Alexa as it advertises. People answer help lines but i got zero help in resolving Alexa issue.

Worthless product

We only used our coffee make a few times and it went into a descale mode; it doesn’t brew coffee anymore. It only descales; the only function that works. We have had it on the counter for a long time to match with the rest of the Cafe appliances, and now considering throwing it away. If zero star was an option, that would be my rating of this product. I have spent numerous hours researching on how to fix it, but I’ve been unsuccessful.
