A: Yes, you have to hold the power button the entire time you are vacuuming. Honestly, it's something you get used to as the power button is directly where you hold the vacuum. It's only mildly inconvenient for cleaning surfaces other than floors. And it greatly helps with the battery.

A: Yes, but it’s really not an issue for me. The button is on the underside of the handle and takes very little pressure to turn on. I love this vac!

A: Yes. But I found an attachment on Amazon that you can install to not have to keep a hold of the button. It wasn’t expensive, a few bucks is all.

A: Honestly, this is the worst vacuum I’ve ever purchased and I would give you a zero out of 10 and ever works. The broom works better. The battery doesn’t stay charged. I did manage to buy it on severe sale, but it isn’t even worth 20 bucks.
