My 3rd, actually 4th, Cuisinart toaster
This is my third Cuisinart toaster. Actually my 4th if you count the warranty replacement on my second. My first was the 4 slice, as is my recent. My second was the 2 slice. They get used daily. Cuisinart handled the warranty well so I felt no reason to consider any change. The current model i had to learn that toasting my bread out of the freezer I had to turn almost to full setting as well as select the freezer setting to get my perfect toast. I am happy with my selection.

Poor quality
Cuisinart used to make high quality appliances. This toaster was received as a replacement for a recently purchased toaster that was not working properly and it doesn’t toast things very well either.

Awesome Toaster
This toaster replaced the same model we had for over 5 years that was used daily. We liked it so much we decided to keep the same one when it broke. The old one was still working but when shaking the English Muffin chunks out of it it slipped out of my hands and to the floor it went separating the top metal from the plastic base exposing the wires. We like the fact that most of this toaster is metal and not plastic and looks great in out stainless steel kitchen with gray quartz countertops. We love this toaster and Cuisinart’s quality this second to none.

Disappointed in the quality of the product
The toaster is easy to use. However, a single slice of bread is toasted dark on one side and lightly on the other. It appears that the heating element(s) in the center of the toaster cause this problem if only one slice of bread is toasted. The bread closest to the center is darker.

Very good product
I love the toaster and the reason I gave 4 stars is because it creates so much heat and causes my cabinets to be hot so I have to move it out when I use it which I lose counter space. I never had this problem before and I still have two slots toaster that I bought before from you. Any suggestions?

Worth the Upgrade
This toaster works as good as it looks. We had a Cuisinart toaster for years that had been so good, and thought that we could try something cheaper when it died. This ended up costing us. Time, frustration, burnt on one side and hardly toasted on the other, and dollars wasted. This toaster solved the problem and should last as long as the last one.

Great toaster and super color
What a great toaster. This has nice large slots and works great. The toast cooks and browns nice and evenly on all sides. The color is also a plus with the stainless black front, very cool looking!

Terrible, would not buy
Bought this toaster about 6 wks ago. At first it wasn’t bad but gradually over the last month it has been terrible. The buttons work when they want, the levers don’t stay down so the bread doesn’t toast. If I am able to get one lever down, the other side won’t go down. This toaster has been a big disappointment considering the cost.

Love the nice selection for either toast your bagel or regular toast, you can select toasting frozen items to even a reheat option. It toasts items very quickly to the perfect color. The red color on the toaster truly pops in my kitchen. Definitely recommend this toaster

Toasts great
I'm comparing it to my old toaster which was built a lot stronger. The Cuisinart looks nice, and I like all the different features, but it doesn't feel as well made or as sturdy as my old toaster. I'm afraid the levers are going to break if I push down too hard. The first few uses, I kept getting a plastic burning smell and there was nothing left inside. It works fine and toasts items great. The slots could be a tad wider so Bagels fit better. It was the best one for my needs.

Works great, but the finish is cheap
The stainless finish on the top of the toaster between the bread slots is blistering from the heat. It toasts great. Bread is evenly toasted. Faster than our old toaster. But I am not happy about the damage to the finish after one cycle.

A Good Toaster, but…
I purchased this toaster based on a recommendation from wirecutter. The pros are, I like the size of the toaster, it toasts quickly, it looks professional and has the features I was after. I’m disappointed that the bagel button does not toast one side of bagel but both sides and just extends the toast cycle. In my mind, this is not what a bagel button is supposed to do. Another disappointment, is that the toasty lever when pushed feels a bit cheap and tinny, would like a more positive feel.

Happy toast
Back in 2006 we had our kitchen remodel. New pots and pans, knives and a new toaster. The toaster was a 4 slice Cuisinart. That original toaster lasted 19 years. Unfortunately I had to replace it. I purchased a small 2 slice toaster from a different company. It didn’t last long in my house. Now I have my favorite 4 sliced Cuisinart back. I’m very happy and so is my toast.
