Replacement filters
I haven’t used any of the replacement filters yet. I just replaced the original filter with the one sent with the product. What I do like about the replacement filters is the availability of a years worth of filters bundled into one purchase.

Cracks Quickly
I am on my second pitcher that has cracked within months of use. I received a replacement after my first one cracked within months. I needed these, however, due to a water crisis in my city. While I believe they filter water well, the pitcher must be placed in a bowl to avoid a mess, which is disappointing.

Love it but wish it was shorter
It is to tall for a shelf in my fridge. I had to put it in the door. I wish they had options that were shorter but still held 7-10 cups. Each time I pour a glass I fill the pitcher again. I love knowing I'm not drinking micro plastics!

Great tasting water
The filter pitcher took some getting to know. It is slower to process than what I was used to. However, the water tastes GREAT. And so, I've befriended the process.

Life changing. Wish I would have known about this brand long ago.
Love it! The practice of filling the carafe makes me so happy. The taste is like nothing I’ve experienced. I’m purchasing several for family gifts.

Happy
Because of my crazy lifestyle it took two years to get my issue resolved. But now that I got my second filter and am able to use the pitcher on a trip I’m elated!!!

One tweak and it's perfect.
Generally I'd call this carafe great, but it's so tall that it doesn't fit well in my fridge. If it were just a few inches shorter, it would fit much better.

Clean Tasting Water! Love It!!!
Prior to purchasing the LifeStraw pitcher, I bought bottled spring water (BPA-free). Now, I have clean tasting water that I enjoy drinking. The filter really filters all the not-so-good elements in the water.

Drips! Design Flaw!
I’ve had this for over a year. It’s been leaking for quite some time. Not always and sometimes just a drip here and there but more and more I come into the kitchen to find a puddle on my wood floor. Not good! A def design flaw. Y’all should fix it! Cuz the water tastes great.

Easy to Replace, No Disposal Instructions
The filters came soon after I ordered them. They included instructions so the filter was easy to replace. However, I could not find directions on how to dispose of the old filter. This should also be included. Can it be recycled or thrown in trash?

I am a Lifestraw customer for life
I love my Lifestraw pitcher. I love the taste of the water, and that my purchases help bring clean water to people who need it. I totally respect your mission. I just wish that replacement parts would be available for purchase. My old pitcher is destined for the landfill because the delicate filter chamber gasket broke.

LifeStraw was a great purchase!
Love the functionality of LifeStraw filtering out microplastics amongst other things from water. I bought the glass pitcher and it’s a great size and aesthetically ideal for everyday use; love the design of the refill compartment ant its centre in comparison to brands like Brita. The only downside to the pitcher and the reason for the four stars is that the handle is uncomfortable when lifting to pour, especially if the pitcher is full. It’s a two-hand job. I think the design of the handle can be improved for better grip and ease of use.

2 Questions
I like the filter but 2 issues: 1) Is the container free of all dangerous chemicals, etc. ? 2) Replacing the filters are very hard to do using 77 year old hands!

Great (no) taste
I’ve been drinking Target’s Good&Gather bottled water, which is awesome: no taste and crisp. This filter results in water that is perfectly tasteless but not quite crisp. To be fair Target’s water says it uses advanced filtration and reverse osmosis, so it’s not completely comparable. I am pleased with the lack of taste and other benefits of Lifewater’s filter though. It’s nice to not feel the need to buy water. I have recommended the filter to my mom. Please consider redesigning the spout at the bottom to be straighter so water doesn’t collect.

First time purchaser
We've just started using the Life Straw 18 cup carafe and figured it made sense to buy a pack of filters. It's hard to really give a positive review because we haven't used them yet.
