happy with purchase but arrived damaged
Pleased with the appearance, the large basket and integrated showerhead, how well the auto pause works and the coffee it makes. The lid fits very tightly (another reviewer had issues with this). The fill lines do seem to be on the wrong side of the carafe for a right handed person. Unfortunately, the edge of the warming plate was chipped during shipment. While this was an aesthetic issue that did not affect function, I decided to return it - but have reordered the same model.

This particular model of coffee maker is awesomely built, I bought one in 2010 and used several times every day and replaced it for the same model just because the old one had some stains due to the normal use, however it still works flawlessly. If you want a coffee maker made to last the Proctor Silex 43501PS is the way to go. I can assure you that it will last for years and will save you lot of money in the long run because you can make you own coffee by yourself!

Small coffee pot, less than usual 12 cup coffee pot brewed.
This 12 cup coffee maker is far less coffee than any other 12 cup coffee maker I have ever had. Very displeased. Also, I did not realize the white maker is harder to keep clean and harder to keep from staining.

Workhorse Coffee Maker
We literally used our Proctor Silex 12-cup coffee maker for 20 years! The pump just broke last week and we purchased this simple 12-cup coffee maker again. My only complaint is that you cannot see the water level. I have to use a flashlight.
