    Overall a great coffee maker

    I love this coffee maker. The size is perfect because the most we drink at a time is 10 cups and I love the thermal carafe to keep it warm without that burnt taste. I've used the smaller brew option a couple of times and I think it's a nice feature but not a major selling point, although it would do great for iced coffee. The only improvement on design that I would like is that the top cover to the unit could open slightly further so it sits open on its own easier. It's not something that would keep me from purchasing it though. Overall, great coffee maker that I would purchase again, pending it lasts 3+years.

    Keeps coffee hot for a couple of hours

    Excellent product. It keeps coffee hot for a couple of hours and is high capacity. It is also programable for 4 cups or less, which is what I use daily. Certainly will use it when company stays overnight.

    DO Not Buy (there is no warming plate/coffee is not hot)

    Looks great Thats about it. Like the preset feature but the coffee came out barely warm. We thought we did something wrong so tried again the next morning and same thing. The coffee is not even warm. Then we read reviews (which we should have do before buying this) and we realized there so not a hot plate under the carafe. It’s designed to be a type of thermos. What a waste of money/time. We returned ours. Don’t waste your time unless you like cold coffee only.

    We'd like to provide some information about your coffee maker's pour spout. The G7CDABSSTSS comes with an improved pour spout: A narrower carafe spout directs and controls the flow of coffee as it’s poured.

    Great coffee maker

    Love GE products especially the coffee makers. I have been purchasing GE coffee makers for years. The heating plate needs to be revamp. The latest coffee maker I have, there is an issue with the heating plate. Even though I decrease the temp, it didn't help.

    Shape of holder on the stand for the pot

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pot does not sit sturdily enough on the holder. It slips around if I’m not careful to put it right in the center. The ridges of the ring where you set the pot need to be higher.

    Right amount of features

    Good looking unit

    Makes a great cup of coffee but the clock is not keeping time accurately. I’ve reset it several times and it jumps hours. Tried unplugging it and it just won’t fix it.

    We want to help you set the clock on your new coffee maker. To begin, press the Hour/Min button to enter clock setting mode—the default time of "12:00AM" will appear when the unit is first plugged in. Use the left and right arrow buttons to set the hour, then press the Hour/Min button again to switch to minute programming. Adjust the minutes using the same arrow buttons. Once the hour and minutes are set, press the Hour/Min button once more to select AM or PM. After selecting the appropriate time of day, press Hour/Min again to confirm your selection.
