Q: My machine provides 6 ozs of very strong coffee when the settings call for 8 ozs of light coffee. I contacted customer support and was told that this is how the machine is designed to operate. True?

    I love it 98%

    I love my new coffee machine! I kind of wish the water tank was a bit bigger, but then I don’t, because that would alter the appearance. I like the simple, stylish design. I love the fact I don’t waste coffee pods. Whether it’s regular ones or biodegradable ones, I hated how wasteful those were. This coffee maker does require regular maintenance, like emptying the container for spent coffee ground and disposal water. We make about 5-8 cups (8 oz each) daily, and I empty the containers every 2-3 days. But with a regular coffee maker, I’d be cleaning it every day anyway. Also, I brush-clean fine coffee ground inside the unit, maybe once a month, when I rinse the infuser as instructed in the user’s manual. That’s something I wouldn’t have to do with a Keurig machine. But that’s a fair trade-off. I’d say I love it 98%. I’m never going back to any other coffee machines.

    Saves time in the morning

    I was able to use this at my little sisters house . It grew on me for convenience and easy to use . Since I was already used to this model I decided to replace my traditional delonghi espresso maker ( which I never thought I would) but the smart brew truly saves me time every morning . Anything that makes my morning routine go smoothly is a major bonus in my life. Two other family members also ordered the same machine . We have all been influenced by each other .

    ATTRACTIVE BUT FAILS TO DELIVER ON ALL LEVELS

    A 2025 Christmas gift for my husband who is a coffee lover. This is a beautiful machine BUT very tempermentle AND VERY LOUD! The whole bean option has no issues BUT go to make a the ground bean option and its an entire experience. Yesterday 1/9/26 the representative with customer service basicallly questioned us and assumed we were doing something wrong and WE ARE NOT so we tried his advice and this morning again I got a cup of warm water NOT COFFEE and yes I put coffee grinds in and used their scoop and yes made sure I put it int he hole in the back of the machine as the instrustion suggested. Making coffee in 2026 should not be this difficult and for $500 it should make a great cup of coffee with one round of effort. THIS IS A DIFFECTIVE MACHINE AND ITS GOING BACK TODAY1

    Good Coffee but Defective

    I had to return the machine due to water leaking and pooling outside the drip tray during normal brewing. While the coffee quality was good, the leak made the unit unreliable for everyday use.

    No grind size control.

    I returned the unit because I didn't like the taste. The grind was too fine with no way to control the grind making the coffee taste like Starbucks. I'm a Dunkin fan.

    Worth the price

    I am in love with my new true brew coffee machine. I decided to swap from Nespresso in order to save money on capsule purchases. While, not 100% the same in terms of brew strength, it is 99.9% close enough for me and I will never go back. It was easy to set up, is easy and quick to use and is easy to clean. I like this so much that I gave one to my daughter for Xmas.

    Delightful! Such good brew and lots of options!

    Makes great coffee & nothing to try and recycle. We love that it will grind beans or use pre-ground coffee. We drink decaf & caffeinated so this was an important criteria for us. The only change we could suggest are larger waste containers for used grounds & rinse water.

    Love the concept

    I think the coffee should be hotter. I have the setting on 1 representing the hottest setting, comes out around 168 degrees.needs to be closer too 195 to 200 degrees

We appreciate your comments and understand how important coffee temperature is to your experience. Please note that the optimal coffee temperature should be approximately 85°C ± 5°C (185°F ± 9°F). If you’d like to verify this, you can perform a quick temperature test: 1) Turn the appliance ON and set the temperature to level 2 (default). 2) Prepare a 24 oz beverage to warm up the hydraulic circuit. 3) Then select and brew a 12 oz beverage. 4) Measure the coffee flow temperature about 2–10 mm from the spout once coffee starts dispensing. Our machines are designed to meet international coffee standards, which recommend brewing at approximately 85°C ± 5°C (185°F ± 9°F) for optimal flavor extraction without scalding the coffee. Brewing at excessively high temperatures can lead to over-extraction and bitterness, compromising the taste and aroma of your coffee. If the temperature is outside this range or the issue persists, we’d be happy to assist you further.     Only makes 10oz. PERIOD.

    So bummed! Despite the 50/50 chance of having a good unit, I got a bad one. I tried calling the company 3x this week to get clarification on why it would only brew 9-10oz only any any/evert setting possible. No other option than to return it. It’s going back tonight after a week of having it :-(

    I bought the De'Longhi TrueBrew the moment it was released, and after two and a half years of daily use, I can confidently say it's one of the best investments I've ever made for my home. ​If you're hesitating because of the price, let me put your mind at ease. When you consider how long this machine has lasted without a single issue, the cost per cup is incredibly low. It's a true bean-to-cup machine, and the quality of the coffee it brews is outstanding—fresh, full-bodied, and consistently delicious every single time. It's also surprisingly easy to use and maintain, which is a huge plus for me. ​This coffee maker has become the star of my kitchen. Everyone who visits and tries a cup is blown away. I'm constantly being asked what machine it is so they can go order one for themselves! It really is that good. ​What makes it even better is that it's more affordable than you think. They offer interest-free payment plans, which makes it so much more accessible than putting it on a high-interest credit card. ​I absolutely enjoy this coffee maker, and if it ever stopped working (which I don't see happening anytime soon!), I would buy the exact same one again in a heartbeat. Oh, and a little tip: if you want foam for your lattes or cappuccinos, all you need is a simple whisk!
