Doesn't toast evenly, as the reviews said
I read the reviews saying this doesn’t toast evenly and I honestly just hoped that those ones were duds and I’d get one that wasn’t. Jokes on me - mine doesn’t toast right either. But it’s fine, it does the job just doesn’t do it evenly. I don’t care that much but if you do, I’d buy something else.

I love this toaster!
My Mom and I went on a vacation and they had this toaster in the house we rented. Before owning this I was using an air fryer with a toast option for toasting. It did not work well. This toaster works wonderful. It toasts both side of the bread evenly, quickly and it easy clean up. I like that the crumb tray is located at the back of the machine, so you don't see it.

Flimsy, & mediocre performance,BUT WORTH THE PRICE
It toasts, unevenly; control dial feels about to fall off. This is the third one of this model we’ve owned The first one we sent back immediately because it toasted only one side in one of the slots. Second one did exactly the same but we decided to live with it. I don’t have high hopes for the longevity of this one, but Wirecutter recommends it, all things considered.

Cuisinart Compact Toaster Replacement
This Cuisinart toaster was a replacement for a Cuisinart toaster very similar which I purchased about 15 years ago. It has been a great toaster, but it was time for a new one. It is toasting my morning bagels evenly and the size of the toaster fits well on my countertop.

Toaster looking good
Just got this new toaster and haven’t used it yet. Looks great. I like that it is designed for bagels and Texas toast. I purchased the black one to match other kitchen appliances. Looking forward to using it but been out of town so it’s just looking pretty. Ive had their coffee makers for the past dozen years with the last one lasting almost 6 years making 2-3 pots a day and I just replaced it at the same time. I’ve been happy and satisfied with their products and service when needed. Highly recommend them.

Nice toaster
Nice little toaster with a good spring to it. I like that you can raise the handle after it is finished to expose the toast further. Also the REHEAT function is nice if you wait to long to butter toast and it gets cold.

Charred everything
It burns toast even on level 2. One of the worst toasters ever. The defrost and bagel function are cool, but you cannot go above level 2 or you get burnt everything. I'm not talking browned. I'm taking about charred. I contacted customer service and they said they'll replace it, but I need to cut the wire and send them a picture. Uh... I've never cut that thick of a wire. Anyway, I'm not really sure it's a defect... I think it might just be a terrible toaster.

I purchased this toaster with an expectation that I would be disappointed despite the Cuisinart name. I am pleased to say that turned out not to be true! From the first time I put a slice of bread in, the toaster has consistently toasted my bread evenly and perfectly. I would recommend it to anyone , excellent value for the money!

Great toaster
We replaced our old toaster with this 2 slice Cuisinart toaster and it is a huge upgrade for very little money. This toaster works quickly and accurately. Great purchase!
