works well
Works great - would have given 5 stars except the dial is very hard to read during the day, need to create a dark shadow to see the numbers

Not as good as the Old Garmin Activity Trackers
Seems to work as advertised, but still not happy with having to recharge it every week. I miss my Garmin that I only had to change the batteries every year. And the features on VivoSmart 5 are not as easy to read.

Great Features, Surprisingly Low Cost!
I had the Hume and Whhop but like my Vivo better. It's light, connects easily to other apps and my iPhone (this was a concern but works flawlessly), the band doesn't twist when you sleep like some others, is waterproof, no subscription fees, and just a nice product. If you have an active lifestyle, this is a fantastic product.

Convenient, indiscrete and stylish.
I really do love garmin. I have progressed from the 3,4,5, not intentionally. After some time, the watches just stopped working. Thankfully, I have alway purchased through points thru work. I wear the watch all the time and enjoy seeing my stats, ect. This is my 4th Garmin. Hopefully, it will last!

I like my Vivosmart 5
I am 92 years old, and my kids bought this Vivosmart 5 for me. I had one of their cast-off Vivosmart 3s for a time, and this one is vastly improved. It is a little easier for these old eyes to see the screen, and the band is much better. That said, I cannot really navigate the watch itself, and I rely mostly on the app on my smart phone. I wish I could set up the default screen so it showed what I want to see every time, but I cannot.

Junk
A year and a half later and it is worthless. Can't read the top section most of the time. And a full charge doesn't last a day.

Great watch
I really like my watch I like that it keeps up with my steps and also use me a sleep log heart rate log and a whole lot more. I like that the watch is Slim and fits my wrist the way I wanted to I like the security of the watch because it has a little prong on it that keeps your watch band from always sleeping out of place.

Upgrade to vivosmart 5
This is my first Vivosmart 5; I wore Vivofit 4 for many years. I was hesitant about the upgrade, but I do like the Vivosmart 5. I like receiving the notifications from my phone and the more detailed sleep report.

Disappointed
I had the small Vivosmart 4 which has been discontinued and loved the small size. After 2 years no matter what I did it wouldn’t charge so I had to purchase the S/M Vivosmart and feel it’s too big.

Here's what I like about Vivosmart 5
I'm using Vivosmart 5, and the things I most appreciate are: 1) the battery charge lasts nearly a week; 2) the statistics are so helpful in understanding my sleep patterns and helping me see what exercise and bedtime strategies work to improve it; 3) the watch face, the ease of seeing the time and and the step count, calories burned, and many other stats; 4) the body battery feature, which is important for me as I sometimes deal with a recurrence of Chronic Fatigue symptoms, and must not overdo at those times. The information is available immediately upon waking in the morning, and is easy to get to throughout the day.

Useless watch
I bought over a month ago so probably can’t return, but basically this watch sucks at tracking the two things i care about most: sleep and steps. I’m postpartum and sleep in three chunks each night; Garmin fails to detect at least one of them most nights. (Fitbit could detect even daytime naps- Garmin could never). Even worse, I just took two long car trips and discovered that the watch records THOUSANDS of steps, even when I sit still, in the backseat, over even ground. So useless! I didn’t want to get a Fitbit bc all the data goes to google now, but I probably just should have gotten a Fitbit anyway.

Great watch
I was sent this watch by my health provider and I feel it is a great item, it helps me a lot with knowing my sleep patterns and my step count, I also enjoy the fact it keeps my HR on live BPM unlike my Apple Watch that has to do a read before I knew where my HR was. Thank you

Viviosmart 5
This tracker has turned out to be my favorite over other ones I've owned. It's easy to read and easy to navigate. I would like a better selection of colors of bands.

resting heart beat
In general, it is fine. But it seems that the resting heart beat number is lower. The one I used prior showed 65, now it is only 55 or below. I wonder if it is correc?

Okay.
Good simplicity, lot packed into a little frame. Doesn't last as long as advertised which was the main reason for purchasing.

Replaced an Aging vívosmart® 5
This is a replacement for dying vívosmart® 5. I been happy with using this for sleep monitoring. Garmin replaced the old one at a reduced price. I'm hoping the NEW version or replacement for the vívosmart® 5 is in the wings.

Great device, horrible band
Product works as expected. Unfortunately, it fell out of my band while performing an activity and is now lost.
