The pre-programmable feature is a big help In the morning when you’re trying to get out the door in a hurry. I really like that you can keep the leftover coffee warm and the hideaway cord tucks everything away nice and neatly.

I LOVE the brew strength option (I like mine BOLD), and it's easy to program so that coffee is ready when I get up in the morning. The BEST feature is the thermal carafe. I can turn off the coffee maker, and the thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours (while looking good at the same time! :-) No more coffee with that "burnt" flavor from being heated too long.

It is nice to be able to pour the water without having to access the whole maker. The carafe keeps the coffee hot hours. Since the carafe is made of stainless steel, you don't have to worry about it breaking.

I tried it and I love it!! It is so simple to use that I didn’t need the directions, however I read them anyway. I have tried regular and decaf, both are so good. It does say in the directions to brew decaf set on bold. Tried it both ways, definitely set it on bold. I love the permanent filter, so easy to use and clean. The pot looks nice and stays hot for awhile. Setting the time couldn’t be simpler and programming delay start is so easy. I like the front fill so I don’t have to pull it out on the counter. Now, the important part, the coffee is so good. I use whatever coffee is on sale and they all come out great. I made a little coffee area on my counter and the Hamilton Beach coffeemaker looks great!

Not only does it keep the coffee hot long after it’s off, but makes an excellent cup of coffee. I like the swing out coffee basket holder it makes filling the ground coffee easy and that it locks in place. The front fill water reservoir is genius and makes it easy to fill. The carafe has a lid that locks. It was a bit tricky at first to figure out but I have no problems with it now, it has a lot to do with where to place the lid to get it to lock. I love the way it looks and all the options it has, like having the coffee start timed to have coffee ready when I get up in the morning and making the coffee bold or regular. I absolutely love this coffee maker and couldn’t be happier.

It has some wonderful features, namely the front-loading water reservoir, the stainless carafe and beautiful display. But it's a trade-off. There is a LOT of plastic on this particular model – too much so, I think. It seems cheaply made because of that, which takes away from the whole idea of the stainless accents. The lid on the carafe is a bit of a struggle. It doesn't fit exactly right and is difficult to lock in position at times. The swing-out filter is also difficult to lock back in every now and again. And like other models, there is no battery back up for the clock, which means you need to reset it if you unplug it. I love the carafe, itself. The different brew settings are nice. It makes a pot of coffee fairly quickly and the metal filter is wonderful. You don't need to use a paper filter with it. All in all, it's a good coffeemaker. I hope Hamilton Beach can make a few improvements to this model and they'll have an excellent product. Thank you for the opportunity to review it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my Front-Fill 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe Stainless Steel Accents about 14 days ago. The coffee basket comes with removable basket so you don’t need filter papers. Ifyou choose not to use this number 4 cone filter papers will work. There is an option to make 12 cups or 4 cups. Also you can program it to make coffee at a designated time after setting your time. There is immediate auto shutoff. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot and fresh longer. I found this coffee maker is easy to use and looks great. It is good to go back a few hours later and still get hot coffee.

It has a 12 cup capacity with an extra large thermal carafe that keeps your coffee hot and fresh longer. You have 3 brew options and its also programmable so you can wake up to a delicious cup of coffee. I really like the auto pause feature that allows you to pour a cup before brewing ends and it comes with a reuseable coffee filter and includes a water filter as well. I'm extremely pleased with this product.

It has a smaller profile but still delivers excellent coffee. I also really like the temperature control for the temperature of the coffee. I like mine hotter than most people do and this pot delivers. Another great feature is the thermal carafe. It keeps the coffee hot without the burnt flavor that can occur when a glass pot is left on the warming plate. It is very easy to set the timer and clock without having to look for the manual when you need to make a change. The filter is very easy to change and fill with coffee. Overall this coffee pot is another winner from Hamilton Beach. Love their coffee pots!

This is my 2nd Hamilton Beach coffee maker and I like the cone filter feature rather than the cupcake type. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the charcoal water filter won't seat and I can't see how it could have fit correctly.
