Q: Just purchased today. It was in two sealed boxes. There was no CREVICE TOOL! There was a picture of one included in the instructions. Am I missing something??

    I absolutely love this vacumn! It is so lightweight and easy to use. No cords to get tangled up in. It does a great job of picking up dog hair. The only issue I had was that my bedroom carpet is too thick for it to work.

    Horrible Battery Life

    Battery life? Non existent. It only lasts 15 minutes maybe on Max. I have pets and unfortunately, a lot of carpet. I can barely get 2 rooms done and it’s dead. It does have good suction, but I can’t justify the price for how little I can get done of my house in one go. Will be returning.

    Not cheap but an effective floor cleaner.

    Had the V8 for a month to do hard floor touchup cleans. The unit is well designed nice to use but durability not so sure. Everything feels a little thin and flymsy. Not something to be manhandled roughly. Unit otherwise has good suction and good cleaning power. Battery last longer than I need but I know it will loose capacity with time. Even on a half price promo the unit seems a bit expensive but happy to give my 1st Dyson a go.

    Missing a tool attachment.

    I bought it last month and it had one tool, the narrow straight tool for corners missing. I was told the V8 Origin did not have it. However, your picture on your website showed the tool.

    Great vacuum

    I love it! I haven't decided on a place to hang it up yet. Some of the attachments are a bit sticky but I think it will loosen up with time. The other attachments connect and release easily. The suction. Is great but not overpowering. It's light weight and easy to use with all attachments. The battery only lasts about 40 minutes which is plenty for most jobs. I've been doing deep cleaning so when it needs recharging I just move on to something else. Im not sure how long it takes to recharge as I haven't timed it.

    Great Hoover, many improvements on my old Dyson.

    The V8 Absolute is a great machine. Seems heavier than my old V6 but, in actual use, it’s not. Amazing how much hair it picks up. The battery does take hours to fully recharge, but it lasts much longer so need to recharge after every use. The accessories are much easier to attach/remove too. My only complaint is the mechanism for opening the ‘bin’. The release mechanism should keep the head engaged while opening the bin, and releasing the dirt. I’ve had this machine since February and only twice has the lid released as it should. Soooo annoying. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.

    This is my second dyson and it won't be my last! It is the absolute best vaccuum cleaner on the market. Excellent suction, is as advertised I buy them when they go on sale!!!!!!
