Display nonfunctional
DO NOT BUY THIS COFFEE MAKER. I purchased one because I liked the idea of brewing iced coffee. Brought it home and plugged it in and the display doesn’t work properly. Right out of the box, several of the LEDs on the clock are not lit, making the “programmable” function nonexistent. Thought it was just a defective product. Took it back to Target the next day to exchange, no problem. Brought the new one home and the SAME ISSUE exists. Two coffee makers purchased with dysfunctional displays. Will not be trying my luck with a third. Returning immediately

The digital clock was broken right out of the box so could never program anything. Brewed very slowly from the start. And after just 3 weeks of use, it doesn't even brew a normal cup properly.

Excellent price and nice build quality with a compact design. Love the easy to read clock face and button controls and touch controls. Very easy to setup and makes a great cup of coffee. This is a replacement for a Mr. Coffee brand Coffee maker that started to get gross inside.

I like the design and how it fits underneath the cabinets properly, to where you can still pour the water in without making a huge mess lol. I do wish it came in more colors. It does not take very long to complete the process of brewing whatever you were going to brew at the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Hamilton Beach coffee maker! It was a complete breeze to get set up and use right away. I didn’t realize it needed size #4 cone filters but once I got those, we were off to the coffee races! I love that it has a 1-4 cup feature if you don’t need a whole pot. It also has the ability to make a Bold brew of the coffee as well. Another major advantage to this coffee maker is it has an Iced Coffee setting that brews double strength over ice! With summer coming up for us soon, this will be a great addition to my morning coffee routine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach 12 cup programmable hot & iced coffee maker is great! I love that it can make both hot and cold. I still prefer to make hot, especially because iced uses twice the amount of coffee, but it did taste slightly less bitter when cold brewed. The machine was slightly thinner than my old coffee maker though a little taller. It’s a great coffee maker for the price, and I love the ability to program it automatically. I did need to buy new paper filters though, so I’ll have to see if I can find a reusable mesh filter. Sleek!

Not worth it
The coffee maker came with a broken digital display, I said that’s okay- I will still use it. I don’t want to make the 30 minute drive back to the store. Now I wish I would have because not even a month later it brews about half way then stops even though it’s a full pot. It also brews coffee grounds into every pot made with it despite using the coffee filter that is recommended.

Dry the carafe completely before storing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this model as a replacement for my last pot that was more basic in functionality. This model offered the option to make cold coffee as well, which would be great for the summer. Unfortunately I ran into a few issues I didn’t have with my last model. The unit coffee pot holds condensation after use, and cleaning due to no airflow like standard pot. Carafe needs to be throughly dried before placing back in main unit. Lip of carafe also inhibits ability to get all coffee out of unit after brewing, as well as the bottom can easily burn you if touched to move, burned myself twice. It’s a nice model, just be aware of certain issues that are minor.

But what I like most is it is jade for a hot cup of Joe on a cool winters day or a cold brew on a hot summers day. You have no idea how much it has saved me on Starbucks. The only problem I have run into is it uses the cone coffee filters. Hard to find in my area

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this coffee maker, especially the cold brew feature. Unfortunately my machine is defective. I cleaned the unit prior to it's first use. I plugged it in and realized the clock display was not readable. Only partial numbers showing up. I tried to set the time the best that I could, and then ran a pot of water through it prior to it's first actual use. That brewed fine. I then attempted to make a pot of cold brew, again following all instructions. Unfortunately when the cold brew cycle was completed, there were still ice cubes left in the reservoir. The warming plate did not shut off. The coffee had to be cooled with ice and tasted fine. I can't foresee making any more pots with this problem. Very disappointing.

Other than the display it functions like it should. Also needs cone filters which I needed to buy to use this.
