DO NOT BUY
If you like a cup full of coffee grinds then buy this. The basket overflows with water and washes 1/2 the grinds in the pot. We tried adjusting the spring and it did not help. We love Mr Coffee but this model is poorly built and is a piece of junk. Would not recommend to anyone. Buyer beware. As you can see in the picture, this was the first cup out of a full pot. Absolutely horrible.

Good coffee pot, always buy Mr Coffee. Good price, got on sale and free shipping. This is almost like the one I'm replacing. This one doesn't beep when the coffee is done and when it shuts off but not a deal breaker. Don't care for the 4 hours shut off time, my other one shut off after 2 hours. All in all, it's a good coffee maker and the coffee is hot.

Liked this coffee maker for its compact size. However, it is a very basic model. It’s not programmable to set automatically, the hot plate it sits on is not adjustable either. Had to return.

Burnt plastic small and taste
Had to return after 1 day. I washed all pieces before use to ensure any dust or debris was cleaned off before brewing a pot. The first pot I brewed made my whole house smell like burnt plastic, and the coffee tasted like a cup of microplastics. I brewed a couple more pots of just water to flush out any possible residue that remained, but it filled my house with the smell of burnt plastic. Very disappointing.

Poor build quality, very sharp plastic
The build quality is so bad I was almost convinced it was a fake. The first time I went to plug it in the prongs were so bent that they didn't even fit in any outlet. I went to move the machine a little on my counter and where the bottom and side meet and it has razor sharp plastic burs on the side with very visable gap openings. After finally getting it to plug in I started to inspect the machine more and the buttons on the front are incredibly loose. I feel like it might be a good thing that it tripped my breaker when I was setting the clock before I even got to brew. I actually can't belive how poorly built it is because they have cheaper units with way better build quality.
