Not worth the $
Buttons only work some of the time and refuses to grind enough beans to make the coffee taste like coffee. Easy to empty and keep clean though. Tried it for over a month in hopes we could figure it out, but we’re going back to our less expensive burr & grind.

Proving My Wife Right
So, I'm writing this far from wife, as she is right, and I don't want to let her know. We had a Black and Decker Mill and Brew that lasted 5 years. I had a few issues with it towards the end, so I wanted a grinding coffee maker with a filter. Immediately, this felt cheap: a lot of caveats, a lot of buts and howevers. 10 cup capacity, limited carafe size, and the element started rusting, the beans don't flow, and the descaling notice is impossible to search for without downloading the manual. Last Melitta we will own

Weak coffee
I can’t get this machine to brew anything but weak coffee (when using whole beans). I’ve adjusted all settings. I’ve removed the finger protector in the bean holder. Will return unless find solutions online to fix grinder.

Coffee maker is unpredictable
There is a learning curve. Always reverts back to 10 cups. The grinder will not grind enough beans until the machine has the grinding door opened and closed, this is located above the carafe, please read instructions. After all that the machine will make a great cup of coffee.

Love the Grinder Built In!
This coffee maker and grinder work so well! I like the variety of settings and that I can see the beans getting ground through the clear bean hopper! Plus this coffeemaker is so beautiful and keeps my coffee warm and fresh!
