This is the best reservoir coffee makers for getting and keeping coffee piping hot for 4 hours without burning it. I love the lighted push bar dispenser. It would absolutely have rated it 5 stars but for the evaporating on the lid that causes the water to drip back outside the coffee filter area. I put a folded up paper towel to catch it but it's a pain. Otherwise I'd given it 5 stars, it makes a great cup of coffee.

We love that there is no pot to worry about. It fits all of our cups, mugs and travel cups. It's also great that it is programable and has a timed shut off. This is the 2nd one we have owned. We don't give it a day's rest. Some days we make 2 pots. Highly recconend

We've had this coffee maker for over 8 years. It developed the dreaded bottom leak so I took it apart, replaced the red tube (there is a good YouTube video on how to do this) and.... no luck. It wasn't the silicon tube; the actual metal that the water runs in to the heating element had developed a split and the water leak was from that split. BUT - this unit doesn't owe us anything, it has been great for the past 8 years! I am ordering another one because it has been the best!

I love this pot. It is easy to use. I love the features. There is a full/empty gauge. It is the best. No more opening the top to see how much coffee there is. The clear side showing the water is so great too. Really the best pot I've ever owned!!!

Impossible to clean Coffee Gauge - Flakes & Leaks

The Coffee Gauge™ mechanism is literally impossible to clean. This means that coffee bean oils and residue will accumulate in the mechanism and they will eventually start to flake off. Those flakes will eventually clog the stopper on the coffee dispenser so, after you dispense your coffee, it will leak. If you do not catch it, whatever coffee is left in the reservoir will leak all over your countertop. So, I've had this unit for a few years. I rinse it daily, as well as clean it and soak it regularly, with soap and lemon citrus. Despite this maintenance, my coffee maker recently leaked coffee on the counter (again) so, I decided to do a really deep clean and soak to try remove all the oils & flakes. I put a few ounces of lemon citrus juice, thinking that would help break up the oils. I also added some Dawn dish soap. Then, I dumped hot water (like really hot, near boiling) and filled up the entire coffee reservoir and let it sit for several hours, thinking that might get rid of the hidden crud (flakes). Hours later, I rinsed it. The next morning, the coffee gauge stopped working but, it sort of worked. I assume the hot water damaged it. So, today, I decided to see if I could fix the Coffee Gauge™ and I wound up removing the entire mechanism. It can be popped out, carefully. Man O Man was there a lot of crud from the coffee oils hidden in that mechanism. This would be impossible to clean without removing the mechanism. Moreover, removing the mechanism could likely risk damaging it (it is pretty delicate). Mine was already not working so, I had nothing to loose. So, my coffee maker still works but, the Coffee Gauge™ is now inoperable. I do not mind that because, at least, I can thoroughly clean it and avoid the crud from coming back. I will continue using it until it breaks or, I decide I want/need another coffee maker. Again, I like the concept of this coffee maker and it is actually the second one I have owned. The first one had the same quirks. *** FYI, the pics were taken after I cleaned the Coffee Gauge™ mechanism. I wish I had thought of taken "before" pics; it was caked with crud from the coffee oils.

I just bought 2nd Cuisinart Coffee on Demand 12-3000. Kept old one for almost 8 years. Going thru at least 2lbs every 2weeks. Started getting slight leak over 2months. Looked for another coffeemaker, no luck at the features in this unit. Have had for 3 weeks. Life is good. Hope I get another 8 years. Will be 83 and still drinking my coffee.

So much easier and more efficient than my last coffeemaker to clean and set up. Has saved me setup time. Also, finding a coffeemaker that doesn't use a carafe/pot was difficult. This one is perfect.

I enjoyed using this pot at my brother and sister-in-law's. When I got home, I ordered one immediately and am so happy i did. It is a seamless process to enjoy coffee on demand. The coffee comes out very hot,, not lukewarm, like my last coffee maker. I love a flavorful, HOT cup of coffee and this fits the bill. Love this design!

Best coffee pot! Coffee on demand is easy to use and program and allows you to brew just what you need. It’s features like the automatic shut off, and program start are awesome! We have been using the pot for 13 years and replaced it just recently but due to use dropping and cracking the water basin. When it was time to replace I went for the same model!
Worth every penny.

We moved away from Mr Coffe pots after having to replace three glass carafes. The Cusinart name and the elimination of the glass pot made this an instant move and we have never been disappointed. The recent purchase was the replacement for the 20 year old pot, sure got my moneys worth on that one!!!
