Q: Is this effective on removing cigarette smoke on a couch?

A: Obviously shampooing it would help and maybe consider using a cup or two of that Urine Odor destroyer liquid in your machine, but If you really want to solve that problem and can put that couch in a sealed small room or unused bathroom, etc I would DEFINITELY recommend getting a cheap $100 or so (they may be less nowadays) Ozone machine and be sure to seal off room its in and towels under door crack if needed and a small fan blowing on ozone machine to circulate and in 24 hrs it'll be like new.

We live with 2 feline rescues, and one has Mega Colon. She tends to vomit often. I kept telling myself to buy one, just never really could find the extra $$$. All I want to say is that if you have pets,DO IT……buy one and you'll be amazed how nicely it works. It even removed an older stain. Outstanding product!

This appliance was a breeze to set up and within 5 minutes I was cleaning the sofa. At first I used the standard wet clean function, which removed at least 80% of the urine and feces. Then I switched to the steam mode, and the remainder of the stains were gone within a couple of minutes. I was so pleased with the results i then turned my attention to an adjacent upholstered chair, dark navy blue fabric. It was apparent looking at the waste catchment on the cleaner just how much dust and dirt was coming out of the furniture! There was no damage to the furniture and it looked brand new when I was done. I had construction going on in the home last year, so there was an exceptional amount of dust and dirt collecting on all furniture surfaces. I can't wait to attack my 7 year old king size upholstered bed frame next!!! #sweepstakes

Urine and feces were deposited on the seat cushions in the most obvious of locations. After reading reviews and product features, I selected the Little Green HydroSteam Pet Portable Carpet Cleaner. It was a breeze to set up, and it was shipped with the cleaning agent, so I was ready to go as soon as I unpacked it. I first tried the wet setting, which removed about 80% of the stains immediately. I then switched to the steam function, thinking a little heat might help release the remaining stain, which it did promptly. I was so pleased with it I went on to clean another upholstered chair (dark navy fabric) and was amazed at how clean the chair looked when I was done. And there was no damage to the fabric color anywhere. The waste water catchment proved I removed a lot of dust and dirt! The chair looked - and smelled - brand new! For context, I had construction going on in the house last year, so you can imagine how much extra dust had settled on all the furnishings in the house. Next up - I'm going to clean my fabric-covered king size bed frame which I've had for nearly 8 years! SO GLAD I PURCHASED THIS APPLIANCE!!

Was super excited to use this today and drove an hour to buy. Got home and opened the box and it was missing the cleaning head! So, totally unusable. Customer service offered to send a new one in 5 days… needed it today… If you buy this definitely check the contents of the box before you leave the store! Hope this isn't an indication of quality of the product since it is not cheap.

It removed them with no problem. The steam function is awesome. Filling and holding tank are so easy to use. The self cleaning hose option is great too. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a portable cleaner for a quick and easy cleaning. Great product!!
