This is a very powerful little carpet cleaner, with not much durability. I have enjoyed about 15 uses until the rubber hose split off from the plastic head. I clean the entire machine and hose after each use, and store it in its holder after everything has dried. Unfortunately now it does not have the section required to properly clean any carpet or upholstery, even with attempts to duct tape it. Essentially, it was great while it lasted.

it was my first time ordering for target i was so exited to get this carpet cleaner because my house was a mess and when i got the email saying it was delivered there was nothing. i contacted target telling about my issue and they didn't wanna provide any solutions i wasted 130 out of my own pocket to not receive anything

There was a chocolate milk spill on the carpet. We cleaned it in the afternoon with a damp cloth and dapped it dry with tissue. The carpet looked clean on the surface. Then in the evening I brought the Cleanslate home and tested it. The water came out light brown. It basically deep cleaned it.

Got this march 2025 and it stopped working in August 2025. Randomly stopped turning on. However under the warranty it came with, the Hoover team was spot on helpful about sending me a new replacement. Good machine to pick up dirt from carpet and love using it for my car! Got so much gross stuff coming out of my seats that I didn’t even know I had there since it’s dark fabric. Only complaint is it doesn’t take long till you have to empty the dirty chamber to continue using it. You can’t fill up the dirty tank much at all, maybe fills up to 2 inches of dirty solution then you the suction thing in the chamber clogs and you have to clean it. I think it has a decent suction but have to apply some pressure to get a really good suction.

I've had this about a year, its great for small areas and rugs. I've used it maybe once or twice a month when I regularly clean my stairs. It was great up until now, had to clean up after my cat this morning and as soon as I plug this in it starts making an awful noise and smoking. Had to clean with a brush and solution mix and now my house smells like hot plastic

Worked well for about a year. I would say I used it about 4 times. The solution spray button started sticking and then completely stopped working. I just used a spray bottle to hold the solution. The last time I got it out, the suction wasn't very good. It only sucked up 1/4 of the solution I sprayed. Every Bissel compact cleaner I've ever owned (about 5 of them) doesn't make it past a year. Usually the hose splits. The sprayer failing was a first for me. I'm going to try a Shark for my next one.

One of bad machines that I bought , compare to other machines and the job that it does this one cost a lot. Don’t buy it. The worst part is the dirty container side is not even enough for small spot. And I have to work hard and took too much time to clean small spot. In the pic show the max amount of dirt water which is not even a quarter of it.
